Lucas P.O.V

The sound of my alarm clock buzzed in my ears. I woke up in a cold sweat, screaming again. I had been having nightmares ever since I had fought with giygas. I looked over at the clock and saw that it was 5:30. I only had 30 minutes to get ready for school! I hopped out of bed and accidentally stepped on a Lego. "Owwie!" I fell over, bumping the closet wall. My stripped yellow and orange shirt fell off the door and landed over my head. I slipped it on and picked up my favorite Jacket that had the same design. Igrabbed my rope-snake and put on a comfy pair of shorts and slid down the stairwell and met my brother Claus and my mom sitting at the table, Eating an omelet and bacon. "Have some breakfast before school Lucca" I sat down, quietly Eating a bowl of cereal. "You make the best omelets, they're always yummy" I cried a bit as I remembered my brother and mom eating breakfast on that fateful day. After I brushed my teeth, I ran to the front door thinking "C'mon, if you don't hurry I'll miss the bus on the first day!" I thought to myself. I hurried to the bus stop and caught the bus just in time. I saw someone get on the bus as I was running. "Wonder who that is" i mumbled to myself. When I arrived at the school, the principal told all the students to go to the auditorium for an announcement. Oh great, a "welcome to our school" speech. When we arrived, everyone started filling seats and I had ended up sitting next to a guy who wore a red baseball cap with a blue rim. He wore a blue and yellow stripped jacket that was slightly open. Oddly enough he had a matching shirt, and he was wearing shorts. His black hair pressed down. He must've noticed me staring at him because he gave me a strange look, not angry and not surprised. I quickly averted my gaze to The floor, hoping that he didn't notice me. I was still as shy as ever, even after defeating giygas. Thinking of the fight made me tremble, I even began to tear up. Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder. When I looked up, the guy next to me looked at me with wide eyes "Lucas?" I recognized his voice "Ness?" He pulled me into a hug and I blushed. "I haven't seen you since the fight with giygas. How've you Been Lucca?" I smiled a bit more, a few tears rolled down my cheeks. Ness hugged me tighter and whispered into my ear "I know it's hard to forget your family. Its all going to be fine" I heard murmurs all around us "is that ness and Lucas?"

"Those are the guys who beat giygas!"

"Why's Lucas crying?"

"Don't they have psychic powers?"

"How could such a crybaby have beaten giygas?"

"Are they a couple?"

The principal blew his whistle and the room went quiet. "I am pleased to announce the saviors of our world are in this school. Ness and Lucas, please come on the stage!" I wiped the tears from my eyes and slowly walked down the isle with ness. When we stood next to the principal, he asked us to show them some PSI. Ness nodded and I Weakly agreed.

NESS P.O.V.

I jumped back and held out my hand, giving Lucas a warning before I fired. He nodded and I yelled "PK rockin!" Lucas held out his hand and said in his soft voice "PK shield!" A small transparent blue psi shield absorbed the attack then faded. I knew that Lucas could read my thoughts because all PSI users had a special link that let them communicate telepathically. "Let's do one more, for the fans" his thought struck me and I could tell he was a bit scared. "What if someone gets hurt?" I sighed and said "that's all for now peeps, we don't use our PSI for tricks!" We made our way back to our seats, me holding Lucas's hand the whole way. As we got our schedules, I noticed that Lucas and I had the same classes. "Hey Lucca, we got the same classes! I'm so happy!" I could tell by his blush on his face that he was happy. Our schedule was

Math 1: Mr Sam

History: Mrs Mary

Gym: Mr Jones

"I'm glad I get to spend the day with Ness." I picked up on Lucas's thought and I blushed a little. Did Lucas like me? I secretly wished he did but stopped thinking about it before he could read my mind. For the first time today, I stared at Lucas intently. He was a few inches shorter than me and he was a bit on the thin side, almost as if he couldn't gain weight. I chuckled as he jumped in the air after seeing a spider.

*Time skip to last class of the day*

Lucas P.O.V.

Today was going well. Ness and I had every class with each other. All of my teachers were really nice and welcoming. I liked highschool so far. I didn't like the sudden swarm of people around me whenever I was by myself. It's not like they were being mean to me, I just can't handle being surrounded. People always rushed up to us asking for pictures and autographs. As we went to the locker room to change clothes, I noticed that Ness was staring at me while I was changing my clothes. "I know you're staring at me Ness" I said as I blushed. He replied with "I couldn't help it, you just look so.....small and you have a small frame." I turned bright red and I said "D-don't try t-to make me b-blush, i-it won't work" a small smile crept over Ness's face as he gave his response. "Then why are you blushing now? It's kinda cute~" we left the locker room and sat in the gym. Mr Jones had us run laps around the school. Ness decided that we should race and see who could run all four laps faster. During the first lap, I was in the lead. I laughed as Ness tried to catch up. In the second lap, Ness sprinted past me with a grin on his face "you're too slow Lucca!" He teased. I caught up to him at the end of the third lap. Now that we were on the final lap, I ran even harder than before and Ness followed suit. "I won't let you win Ness!" "Don't think I'll go easy on you Lucca!" I saw Ness pulled out his yo-yo and flung it forward. I hurriedly grabbed my rope-snake and swung it at the yo-yo. They collided with each other and got tangled up. We both tumbled forward and crossed the finish line at the same time. After getting untangled, we noticed we had finished 10mins before everyone else. We sat down and began to talk about ourselves. "Hey Ness, I want to thank you for making me feel so welcomed" he gave me a small smile and hugged me. I blushed hard and whispered to him "I hope we're always friends." The bell rang and we walked to our buses. I was surprised that he rode the same bus as I did. "Yes, yes yes!!" I chanted in my head. I started drifting off and I leaned my head on Ness. I felt his soft hand stroking my hair softly. "Hey, Lucca, hey, wake up" I felt someone shake me awake. When I got up, I looked out of the bus window. "Here's my stop" we said in unison. Ness noticed the tired look I had. He offered to carry me on his back. I agreed and climbed onto his back. He walked slowly towards a set of houses. He walked closer to my house and I pointed to it. "That's where I live" I pointed to a small two story house that was painted sky blue. "Hahahaha, I'm glad it's your house. Mine is the one next to it" he pointed to a small, two story house with a delicious smell wafting from the window. I hopped off of his back and hugged him. "See you in the morning Ness!" I waved as I closed the door. My dad was sitting at his desk, doing research. That night I had a dream about Ness and I. He was lying on top of me, both of us completely naked. I woke up to a strange sensation. My leg was wet. It didn't feel like I wet the bed, but to be sure I looked inside my boxers. My member wasn't as it usually was. There was a clear fluid dripping from the tip. I got into the shower and cleaned myself. "What was that weird liquid? This is the first time I've seen it. I'll ask dad after school tomorrow. After my shower I got back into bed. I still dreamed of Ness. "Tomorrow............"
