Chapter Twenty

Tam watched helplessly as Glimmer was dragged into the force field with Lady Gisela and Ruy. Nelie stepped forwards. "Now to deal with you three." Her sickening smile made Tam's stomach lurch. Sophie and Fitz held on to each other as Nelie advanced on them.

(I be like: Get a room ppl!) 

"Not so powerful anymore, are we." said Nelie as she clasped Sophie by the neck. Tam gritted his teeth together and Fitz looked ready to tear Nelie apart. "Stop!" said Fitz. "A simple plea? Your going to have to do better!" said Nelie, tightening her grip on Sophie while sending a blast of wind through her. Sophie released a scream that Tam never wanted to hear again. One like Linh's.

Red blurred his vision as shadow flux poured out of him. Nelie's eye's widened and she dropped Sophie to the ground as the spear charged towards her, aimed right at her heart.

Instead it hit electricity and sparks a force field rebounded, aiming straight for Tam. Tam covered his eye's as the spear began to close in. Instead Glimmer somehow managed to break through Ruy's force field and lunged in front of the spear. With a sickening crunch it lodged itself into Glimmer's chest.

Everyone was silent. Glimmer looked down at the spear in her chest and fainted onto the ground. Tears blurred Tam and Fitz's vision as they looked at each other helplessly. Could Glimmer be.....

Dead?
