NORA:

I'm so glad she's here, we haven't been able to just hang out for awhile. Mags is my one and only friend I can trust and be myself around.

We've been friends for forever, I don't remember not being friends.

"Can I change the song?" Maggie asks from across the living room.

"I don't care, go ahead, just don't make it sad!" I say back as I walk into the kitchen to get us drinks. Maybe it's a little adult like or whatever but I grab some wine.

Before I know it the lyrics of Sorry Not Sorry play through my ears.

"OHHHH DAAAMMMNNN" I yell. "You didn't" I say as I get to her.

"Oh but I did" she says back as she takes her wine with a smile.

"Now payback is a bad bitch And baby, I'm the baddest You're fuckin' with a savage Can't have this, can't have this! And it'd be nice of me to take it easy on ya, but nahhhh" we sing in unison facing each other.

I turn the music up louder, which I didn't think was possible. Guess it's a good thing we don't have neighbors..

"Baby, I'm sorry, I'm not sorry. Baby, I'm sorry, I'm not sorry! Feeling inspired 'cause the tables have turned. Yeah, I'm on fire and I know that it burns
Baby, fineness is the way to kill, Tell me how it feel, bet it's such a bitter pill. And yeah, I know you thought you had bigger, better things
Bet right now this stings!'Cause the grass is greener under me, Bright as technicolor, I can tell that you can see And yeah, I know how bad it must hurt to see me like this But it gets worse!" I belt out the lyrics as we dance around the living room doing stupid dance moves and making faces at each other.

God it feels so good to just let go.

Mags continues to dance around me while I sing the song with her

"Now payback is a bad bitch And baby, I'm the baddest. You fuckin' with a savage! Can't have this, can't have this, And it'd be nice of me to take it easy on ya, but nahhhh!!" We sing to each other with so much sass it's unbelievable!

This is what I've needed. To sing songs with my best friend and relax. Dance like no body's watching and sing my heart out while looking stupid crazy.

"Are you ready??" Mags asks me.

"Oh hell yeah, are you though???" I say back. The part coming up her and I do this weird cat walk thing, we go back and forth with the lyrics being sassy to each other, and then she gets on her knees while I'm supposed to sing the long note...it's weird but funny to others.

"Talk that talk, baby. Better walk, better walk that walk, baby." Mags sings to me, her hand is on her hip and she's pointing her finger at me. I can't help but laugh a little.

"If you talk, if you talk that talk, baby
Better walk, better walk that walk, baby." I sing back to her with the most dramatic face I could make, which makes her laugh in return as she tries to keep a straight faces

"Oh yeah! Talk that talk, baby! Better walk, better walk that walk, baby!" Maggie is a good signer. Most people don't get to hear her sing, I'm one of few, but she is really talented....it's bazaar how good she is but she doesn't wanna do anything with it. It's crazy to me, but at the same time I get it.

"If you talk, if you talk that talk, baby
Better walk, better walk that walk, baby . Ohhhhhhh yeeaaaaayyyyy!!!" I sing out the last part holding the note, which surprised me VERY much. Once I finish the note I get pulled dramatically as we continue to sing the rest of the song.

"Well damn" Mags says as she gulps some of the wine down. "That was one of the best sing outs we've had in a while, Jesus that was good...and so is this.." she says as she eyes the wine.
