NORA:

Mom came home right on time, I had actually managed to fall asleep after my freak-out and in the middle of some research. Emma woke me up by jumping into my bed and laying next to me, poking my arm.

"Mom says you have to wake up, it's time for dinner." She says quietly.

"Okay, I'll be right out. Thanks, Em." I say back as I stretch my arms above my head.

"You should shower first, you're all sticky and stinky" She giggles as she leaves my room.

That's when I notice I've been sweating..A LOT. My blankets are barely on me, I feel hotter than hot, and I have a headache from the depths of hell.

I try to stand up from my bed, but stay sitting when I get instantly dizzy. God I feel awful.

Once the dizziness goes away I try to stand again, but it only makes me nauseous.

"Nora are you comi-oh Nora do you feel okay? You don't look so great." My mom says as she walks into my room.

"I don't know mom, it came out of nowhere. I feel like crap. Maybe you jinxed me and now I actually have a stomach bug." I laugh a little but stop when it hurts too much.

"Why don't you lay back and I'll bring in some water and food for you." She offers while she walks towards the door.

"Can you bring some pain medicine too, please?" I ask with a raspy voice.

"Of course, be right back." With that she leaves my room. I slowly lay back onto my bed and pull just my sheet over me.

A few minutes later she comes back with some water, pain medicine, and some food. It looks like a stew of some sort.

"Thank you mom. Can you also open my window? I'm extremely hot, I just need a breeze or something." I ask before I take a swig of water and take two ibuprofen.

"Sure, anything else while I'm in here?" She asks while walking towards the window.

"Actually, while youre over there, can you grab my garbage can..just in case." I ask while I push a pillow behind my back to help me sit up.

"Yeah, no problem. Okay, eat as much as you can and then try and get some more rest. If you need anything else just give me a shout, okay?" She asks while running her hand across my forehead and pushing my hair back.

"Okay, thank you mom." I say as I lift the spoon from the bowl to my mouth.

"Of course honey. Rest up." And with that she walks out of my room and closes the door.

I can hear Emma asking where I am, and mom telling her I'm sick. I can also hear the wind and some birds outside.

I look at the clock on my desk and see that its 6:42. The sun is still up, but it's starting to fade and disappear behind the clouds. It always looks so pretty this time of day.

Turning back to my bowl, I finish as much as I can before I start to feel sick, I drink some more water, and then I slide down into my bed and try to go to sleep.

GREYSON:

I've been so busy all day today, between trying to find the person that left the note, and trying to get ahead in some paperwork, I've had no time to visit my mate.

It's finally after dinner and I'm able to get away from the pack grounds and see my mate.

I've been feeling off today, kind of hot and distracted, a little achy. Maybe it's because she touched me yesterday and now my body needs to be near her, maybe it's because I haven't seen her all day, or it could be because I was a weirdo and slept with her sweatpants, she let me borrow yesterday, bunched up near my head. Who knows, but I'll be fine once I get to see her.

So I quickly rush to the tree line and take my clothes off, shift into my wolf, and grab my clothes in my mouth, and run to my mate.

Once I get to her property, I slow down and trot up to her window. I set my clothes down on the ground, and look into her room.

That's when I realize her window is open, and her scent is coming out strong.

She seems to be dreaming when I see her flinch and then roll onto her back, her mouth mumbling words I can't understand.

She starts to shift more, mumbling louder. I can start to make out a few of her words.

"...No. You stay away. .Dont hurt himnopleaseWolfy, fight backdont hurt Wolfy.." She continues to mumble more things, but it's too jumbled to make anything clear out.

Wolfy? Who the hell is Wolfy?? I ask myself, what is she dreaming about?

She's dreaming about me. Noah says, That's what she called us when we were hurt.

That's when I remember laying down in her bathroom with her trying to help me. She's so adorable, she's dreaming about us.

I'm taken out of my thoughts when suddenly she shouts "No" and bolts upright in her bed.

She's panting, sweating, and shaking. She brings a hand up to her side and holds it while hissing.

After a few seconds she releases her grip and then pushes her hair out of her face.

I then realize that she looks pale, and that she is sweating a lot. Before I know what's happening, she's leaning over her bed and grabbing a garbage can and then throwing up in it.

Is mate okay? My wolf asks.

I dont know, it looks like shes sick. I responded back to him.

We should go help her. He says.

I dont think thats a good idea.

Before I even realize what's happening, I'm jumping through her window, and walking slowly across her floor.

I take a deep breath in and relax as I smell her scent. I look over at her, and it seems she hasn't noticed me yet. It is dark in here, it would be hard to see.

I slowly walk over to her bed and walk to the side that she's closer to.

Once she finally notices me, she stiffens and then starts to shake.

What is happening?
