Chapter Five

GREYSON:

I nod my head. I can't lie to her so I nod.

"Um. Can Um...can you go back. Like to human. I would like to have responses not head nods and nudges. Um please." She says. She looks like she doesn't know what to do with herself. I lick her cheek, she just sighs and leans into my head.

I walk a little ways away and shift.

I was expecting to hear screams or for her heart to speed up but nothing happens. I move my head up and look at her. She's just staring at me.

"Holy shit. You people do exists. Like yeah I always thought it would be cool. I would read books and wish it was real, you know? Think about what it would be like to meet one of you. To be friends or mates or whatever they are called but I grew out of that. I stopped reading, I stopped believing. And now I just watched you change from a wolf to a human. And part of my still thinks I'm dreaming or something. That I'm gonna wake up and be sleeping in my bed. I don't know how to respond to this. I already pinched myself and I haven't woken up so I must me awake right?" She says all of this a little dazed.

I chuckle at the fact that she's pinched herself to see if she was dreaming.

"Wow" she says and I can feel her eyes on me. I look up at her but her eyes don't meet mine, they are looking at me. "Dude. Books don't do you justice. You are one fine specimen" I can't help my laugh but then I stop and look at her because she gasps.

"Uhh dude, you're naked. Like stark naked, just like when you were born. I um, I'm so sorry. I forgot that this happens and i saw..well yeah. I'm so sorry I didn't mean to, I'm not trying to be weird. I um, I'm so sorr-"

"You're fine. Do you have anything I can borrow?" I ask as I chuckle from her rant.

She looks at me with reddened cheeks, oh my goddess she's blushing! She's so perfect.

"Uh yeah just um, come with me. Just walk behind me because I don't want your naked literal ass in my face. " she says as she turns around and begins walking back towards the steps. I let a full laugh out and I can't stop myself. She's one of a kind this one!

When I look back at her she's staring at me waiting by the door with the same look she had when I took forever the first time.

"Listen, you're hot and have a cute laugh. Yea that's blunt but there's no shame in my game. But like I said before, I'm not gonna stand here all night waiting for you to continue walking. You can laugh and walk. Now let's go." She says as she keeps her eyes pinned to mine.

I just smile and nod my head walking up the steps of the porch.

We get into the house and I think we are gonna go into the bathroom but instead we keep walking down the hall and end up in her room.

I inhale deeply and I relax immediately. She smells so damn good.

I snap back into my thoughts when I see her walking to me with sweats in her hand.

"I like baggy clothes. I buy my joggers in the dude section so these might fit you. Go try them on" she says and walks away.

"Yes ma'am" I say back and she just looks at me and turns back around and heads out the door.

I get changed quickly. The bottoms are a little tight but they are on. That's all that matters.

I open the door to see her by the bathroom bent over getting something in the bag.

I groan and turn away.

She's gonna kill me.

She turns around quickly and stands up with tinted cheeks.
