Leorio sat at his desk "studying" but in all reality he was just spacing out. All of a sudden, tears brimmed his eyes and soon started to drop along the pages of his textbook. The thoughts of his small blonde boyfriend getting hurt and him not being there for him consumed his mind everyday. As the tears dropped every few seconds on the paper he could hear a faint noise at the door. He knew it was kurapika. He wiped his tears away although his eyes were still red. Leorio grabs a book to hide the fact he was crying and Kurapika walks in and greets his taller boyfriend. "Hey, baby wyd?" Leorio sniffles and says "nothing much-" Kurapika knew something was wrong, leorio wouldn't look at him. He grabbed the book out of hus hands and saw leorio red and tear-streaked face. Kurapika grabs his face and panics when leorio's tear begin to form again. "What's going on?" says kurapika nose to nose with his black haired boyfriend. "I was- I was just worried about you alright, you always leave for so long at a time and i just don't know when-" and he continues to ramble in incoherent sobs. Kurapika pulls Leorio closet and cuts him off with a kiss. "You don't have to worry about me, i'll be okay." They sit like that for a while until kurapika starts to tear up as well. He wasn't one to show his emotions other than rage, but with leorio, it was different."
"hey sunshine?"
"yes?"
"promise me you will stay safe for me"
"I promise" says kurapika with a smirk
