TW: Party, Alcohol, Drugs, Kissing

Harry's pov

It's Friday, classes are over and what does that mean for the rest of us, either you party or don't. This week Slytherin is hosting the party in their common room. Those parties are usually the craziest, with alcohol, drugs brought in by Malfoy, and lots of making out. I tend to go to parties, but never engage in them, they're boring to me.

I leave potions class with Hermione and Ron trailing behind me. "Are you going to the party tonight? Heard it's going to be a good one." Ron states.

"I mean I'll go, but you know me I don't really like to party much." I respond with a shoulder shrug.

"Oh Harry get out of your comfort zone and do something fun, you won't regret it." Hermione adds on before running off with Ron.

I can't really express how badly I just don't want to go. In reality I want to walk outside, and wander around Hogwarts all night pointlessly, looking up at the stars and finding the meaning of every single one, and just have someone by my side. Laying on my shoulder, and both of us wrapped around in one robe. I can only dream of that ever happening to me.

Everything has happened to me but that, I've encountered with many deaths and traumas, and fought off many dementors, but I've never managed to be saved by the pure grace of an angel walking these halls.

Hours later I creep the dorm doors, and notice everyone running towards the Slytherin common room. I look both ways, and head out. I strut down the stairs, and towards the common room.

"Potter, welcome." Malfoy says smirking with Crabbe and Goyle by his side.

I walk over to Hermione and Ron, but they're already busy grabbing drinks, "Here Harry have one."

"Oh, no thanks I'm good." I respond.

I immediately head over to the corner away from the loud speakers busting my ear drums out. I stand there in the corner, and watch everyone jump up and down. Enjoying themselves. I can't really seem to comprehend the fun in this, Ron and Hermione always settle together and get lost in the crowd.

I look at the time and its only eleven, not even midnight. The party pretty much just begun. I still stand there fidgeting with my fingers, until a voice grasps my attention.

"Hey, what are you doing over here, the party is over there. Not in the corner. Oh, and I'm y/n by the way." She says wearing a green tie, with a solo cup in one hand, and her other hand out for me to shake. I can't tell if she's actually a Slytherin, or one of Malfoy's hookups again wearing his stuff.

"Oh I just don't like to party really. And I'm Harry." I shake her hand gently.

"Harry Potter? My father speaks of you all the time, but anyway you should go dance, Hermione's having a good time." She says screaming over the loud music.

"Harry, she's asking you to dance!" Hermione says screaming across the room.

"No thanks, you can dance with Malfoy, or Fred and George, you seem like their type." I reply back.

She grabs my hand and pulls me out of the corner, "No you're coming with me."

Y/n pulls me aside to grab a drink, "Which one do you want."

"Which ever one is your favorite." I add smirking.

She pours me a mix, I'm definitely about to pass out after this, but maybe Ron and Hermione are right I should have some fun, occasionally. I take a sip, and barely swallow it, holy shit. I put my drink aside, and run with her to the crowd. The Hills starts playing on full blast, but Malfoy and Blaise turn it up more.

I decide to grab her waist and pull her in closer, as I smirk at her, and look at her glistening eyes. The slow, calm part plays in the song, it makes me think she's my future. Time really just stopped for me in that moment. She smirked, pulled my neck with one hand, and placed her right hand on my cheek, and kissed me.

"Potter just kissed a girl." Malfoy yelled laughing and pointing.

I blush, and smile the slightest bit. Thoughts run through my head, how haven't I ever seen her before. Six years at Hogwarts and I've never seen her before, she has to be new. It didn't matter to me, I'll find out after the party.

But for now I pulled her aside to the corner and kiss her some more, and put all my worries behind me.
