"Pound it."
It was the first time (after Chat Noir told Ladybug that he gave up on her already) that they did it. Ladybug was somehow happy that they're back to doing the 'pound it' after defeating an akumatized villain, but there's a hollow space on her heart because she knows that something had changed. . .
And everything might never be the same again between the two of them.
"Good moves, Ladybug," Chat Noir said that caught her off glance. "But I don't want to reveal my identity to everyone, so see you at the night patrol, Ladybug."
"See you, Ki -- Chat Noir." Ladybug stopped herself from calling her 'Kitty' as soon as she realised that Chat Noir had stopped calling her nicknames already. He really mist have had someone else now, huh?
Once she transformed back, she casually walked back to Alya's home. The other girls are there too. It was one of the days where they just hang out and bond with each other.
"So? Did you find the key chain that you dropped?" Alya asked as soon as she stepped inside their living room.
Marinette was confused for a moment until she remembered that it was the alibi she gave them before she rushed out when she heard that there was an akuma attack again. She smiled sheepishly. "A-ah! No. Someone else found it, I guess," she said.
"Aw," Rose said, feeling sad for her friend. "Well, come sit with us now. We're watching a mo --"
"Adrien posted on his Instagram!" Mylene exclaimed. She immediately caught the attention of everyone, especially Marinette.
Poor girl. She's still confused about her feelings toward Chat Noir and Adrien.
"What is it?" Marinette couldn't hide the eagerness on her voice.
"Oh. . . Don't show Marinette that," Alix said when Mylene showed her the picture.
"What? Why?" Marinette whined. "You know I can still view it from my phoneeee."
"Yeah, but you left your phone on the couch earlier. I took it," Alix replied, wearing a mischievous smile. "But seriously, Marinette, don't stress yourself with Adrien. Let's just watch the movie." The other girls nodded in agreement.
"Fine," Marinette forfeited. Maybe they're right. I should stop stressing out myself.

It was around eight in the evening when Ladybug reached the Eiffel Tower. They decided to stay there for the night since it's overlooking the whole city.
"Hey," she softly greeted Chat Noir, sitting a few inches beside him.
Chat Noir let out a friendly smile -- unlike the usual, flirty smile he used to give her before. "You're kind of late, Ladyug. That's not really usually you."
You're not being the usual you either, Ladybug wanted to say but she didn't. Instead, she said, "Sorry. I was busy the whole day."
"Right," Chat Noir said, nodding understandingly. "What did you do anyway?" Curiousness was written all over his face.
"I hang out with my best friends," Ladybug simply replied. It was true. She just came home from Alya's house and immediately went for the night patrol.
"That's a nice way to spend your Sunday," Chat Noir commented.
Ladybug nodded her head in agreement and decided to ask too. "How about you? What did you do?"
"I had a date with the girl I told you. The one I wanted to give a chance," he answered. "She's nice. We had fun."
Ladybug knew that Chat Noir didn't mean to make her jealous or whatever, so she simply smiled. . . but regrets and what ifs are already eating her up.
