"This night was fun," Chat Noir said as he and Ladybug walks away from the venue.

The people had left already and they're the only one left. The night was calm — especially now that it's already midnight.

"Yeah," Ladybug yawned. "As much as I'm enjoying this walk" — her face blushed as she realised what she just said — "I'm tired. I should go ahead."

"Yeah, me too," Chat Noir replied, mirroring her yawn. "Who knows even slow dancing could be tiring?"

Ladybug giggled. "Not me. I only danced with you tonight."

Her answer stunned Chat Noir.

"But anyway, I really need to sleep now, Chat. See you when I see you!" And then she ran away, leaving a stunned (and confused) cat.

Marinette was running late when Alya blocked her at the door to her classroom. There was an excited glint on her face as she grabs her on her shoulders.

"Alya, we're gonna be late!" Marinette shrieked, trying to break away from her best friend's grasp.

Alya didn't budge. "No, were not. We have the whole day free to ourselves as long as we're in school," she explained. "It's because of last night. They know everyone are still tired."

Marinette just stared at her, dismayed that she skipped breakfast for nothing.

"Anyway. . ." Alya pulled her until they reached their seats. "Last night was so fuuuuun! I wish you were there with us. Ladybug took a photo with me again!"

"Really?" Marinette responded, pretending to be shock.

"Yup!" Alya replied. "And she and Chat Noir danced last night! I totalling doubt that they're not dating."

Marinette winced.

"Why?"

"Chat Noir still looks so in love with Ladybug," Alya replied in a 'duh' tone. "It's less evident now, but everyone can tell that the feelings is still there."

"That's ridiculous, Alya," Marinette tried to deny it. She doesn't want to have a false hope on her best friend's words. "Didn't Chat Noir danced with Kagami last night —"

It was too late for Marinette to stop because Alya had already heard her.

"How did you know?"

"Uh, well. . ." Marinette scratched her head. Tikki, who's hiding inside her bag, was shaking her head at her owner's clumsiness. "Mum mentioned it?" she answered, unsure.

"Oh, right," Alya nodded her head, buying Marinette's excuse.

"Was Adrien there?" Marinette carefully asked. She didn't see him for the rest of the night. It's not that she's crazy over him. She's just a feeling a little. . . annoyed that Adrien's girlfriend got to dance with Chat Noir longer than she does. She knows she's being petty, but what can she do? It's what she feels.

"I did not see him," Alya answered. "Kagami said he had to go to their fencing class when Nino asked her."

"Oh, okay," Marinette shrugged.

"Woah, woah!" Alya exclaimed. "Was that you being nonchalant about something about the 'love of your life'? Are you sick? Who are you?"

Marinette playfully rolled her eyes at her best friend's exaggerated outburst.

"I don't like him anymore, okay?" she said confidently. "And besides, he has a girlfriend already!"

"A girlfriend who danced with Chat Noir last night," Alya pointed flatly. "That girls. . . Ugh." Alya groaned. "First, she stole Adrien from you. Then now, she's about to steal Chat Noir from Ladybug."

'Someone already took Chat Noir from Ladybug already,' Marinette thought.

"Calm down, Alya," Marinette couldn't believe she was the one to say that. "Just let them be. Adrien looks happy with her."

But as soon as Adrien entered the room frowning, followed by Kagami who is frowning too, Marinette couldn't fight the curiosity building up inside her.

What is up with those two?
