THE HOLIDAYS WERE OVER AND IT WAS TIME TO PILE TO THE DIRTY VAN ONCE MORE.
Billie drove the two of them out to the others as Liz tidied up the back. A veil of silence fell over the two, but none had felt uncomfortable with it. They had grown so close within the past couple of days after Christmas.
They still had New Years' to come, and unfortunately, their schedule didn't allow them to stay home for it.
Billie thought that maybe when they spend New Year's eve in a hotel, maybe that was her chance to kiss her. She was big on the cliches. Wait for the ball to drop with the countdown, and then she'd do it.
The two would share a kiss that night, but it wouldn't go down in that direction. In fact, Billie's anger would get in the way and she wouldn't try to kiss her at all.
For the second half of their tour, they were going to switch to a tour bus but with some budget cuts and issues with the van in general, it won't be happening till the next tour. So here they were, in her old white van. This time tho, there was going to be another person joining them, someone who would be causing problems to later come. One of Billie's best friends, Zoe Donahue.
They first went to go pick her up, as she didn't live far from Billie at all. Finneas was currently at Claudia's with her parents as she spent her final night with them and so did he. They were further out of the way so that's why Zoe was first to be picked up.
"Hey bitch," Zoe squeals, hopping into the van and pulling Billie into a hug. Her bags flung onto the floor next to Liz.
Liz already knew that Zoe wasn't fond of her. She knew it because she once overheard a phone call between the two, Billie was telling her about the girl, and Zoe was concerned for her best friend. Picking up some homeless girl off the street and taking her home to her family.
"Zoe this is Elizabeth," Billie introduces her with a smile.
"Nice to meet you, Zoe." She sticks out her hand, taking the other girl's hand and shaking it.
