Ace x Reader {Take My Coat} AU

(Y/n)'s Pov

"What are your plans for tonight (Y/n)?" I was out having breakfast with my friends since my boyfriend had to work this morning but he promised me once he got back, we'd have an incredible date together. "I'm not sure, Ace has the whole night planned out though. What are you guys up to tonight?" Cutting into my stack of pancakes the others at the table started taking turns telling everyone about the plans they had with their significant other.

"Well, me and Katakuri are planning to see a movie tonight. He booked the whole theatre out so we can have some privacy together. There are going to be some unhappy people but I doubt any of them will say shit about it" As I looked over at Star, I could see she was texting away on her phone so I assumed she was texting the man in question about whatever weird things they discussed together. "Oh, damn Star your man has to book a whole theatre just for you. I need a man like that... maybe you can lend him to me for the day?"

"Hehehe. Sorry but Katakuri is mine and I don't want to share him. Why don't you ask Heat out?" Shifting my eyes to the one single girl in our group I could see her face was lighting up with a dark shade of red. "N-No, are you crazy!? Heat is a sexy beast I am nothing compared to that man!" I couldn't help but start laughing as a certain blue-haired man's head turned to face the girl. "Hahahaha. I think he heard you. Now you have to explain yourself"

"I'll see you guys later! This should cover my part of the bill, keep the change!" When Yuki started running out of the restaurant, I decided to be a good friend to her. "Don't just stand there Heat go get your girl! She's probably still in the parking lot trying to start her car" Apparently I wasn't the only one who wanted Heat to leave since Killer had got up and started dragging the man out the door. "What about you Jinx?"

"Hm? Law's working tonight but he said if I stopped by at nine, we could have some fun in his office. I'm also thinking I might dislocate my shoulder or something just so I can check myself into the hospital... though that's a terrible idea. Do you think Yuki managed to get away from the 'sexy beast'? Hehehe" I knew the girl's car was acting up so she most likely was still here. Thankfully Heat was a mechanic. "Let's hope not but I should start heading home. How much did Yuki leave?"

"Plenty, I'll make sure she gets her change you run along (Y/n). We still meeting here tomorrow morning?" Nodding my head, I took out Ace's credit card and paid my bill. It didn't seem right to spend Ace's money but he insisted plus the man preferred that I just stayed home and was comfortable. "I'll be here but someone will have to check on Yuki to see where she ends up tomorrow morning. Take care girls"

"See ya (Y/n)"

Later That Day...

"(Y/n) I'm home! Where are you, babe?" Hearing that Ace was home caused me to jump but I quickly finished setting the table before I went to meet him by the door. "Ace! I've missed you so much! Wash your hands then come join me at the table. I made your favorite... you weren't planning on taking me out for dinner, right?" When he shook his head, I let out a sigh before I gave him one last kiss and headed for the dining room.

'Slap'

"Hey, Ace don't do that!" While covering my behind I started walking backward so the man didn't get a second chance to give it another smack. "Hehehe. Sorry (Y/n) but your ass is fantastic~ I'll be right there just let me clean up first" Shaking my head at his retreating form I headed back to the table to wait for Ace.

20 Minutes Later...

"Sorry (Y/n) I fell asleep in the shower again" The food was still hot so it was fine. Gesturing to the free chair my boyfriend took a seat before he started to pile food into his mouth. "I always love your cooking (Y/n) what would I ever do wit- 'Crash'" Letting out a small giggle I left Ace where he was while I continued eating my dinner. "-hout you? Damn it, I just put on this shirt"

"It's alright Ace you're just meant to remain shirtless. Where do you plan to take me tonight?" The likelihood that Ace would fall asleep again was high but hopefully, I could at least get an answer out of him before he did. "We're going on a boat ride. I got Pop's to lend me a boat and Marco will be our Captain for the night. Doesn't that sound fun (Y/n)?"

"I can't wait"

Later That Night...

"Hey, Marco! Is the ship ready to go!?" We we're walking up to the blonde was looked a little annoyed to be there but Ace completely ignored that small detail. "Yes, it is-yoi. How long do you plan to be out here Ace-yoi?" When my boyfriend struggled his shoulders the older male sighed as he boarded the ship. "Come along-yoi"

"Thanks for taking time out of your day like this Marco!" Boarding the ship behind Marco I took a look around as something was placed around my shoulders. "Why'd you give me your coat Ace? I don't want you freezing here take it back" When he refused the coat, I wrapped it around myself as I hummed at the warmth it contained. "Your coats so warm Ace~ Maybe next year we should have our date somewhere with a few more heaters"

"Ya I didn't really think this whole thing through but I'll keep you warm (Y/n). Happy Valentine's Day my dear~ Take a look at the fireworks, pretty aren't they?" Staring over at where Ace was pointing the sky soon erupted with bright colorful sparks. "Wow~ I love it and I love you just as much Ace. Thank you for bringing me out here" Pressing my lips against his I felt him pick me up as he started twirling me around the deck. "I thought you were a terrible dancer Ace?"

"I've been taking classes to impress you this year and I must say it was money well spent. Ready for the dip (Y/n)?" I was hesitant but slowly nodded my head. "Please don't drop me this time Ac- Ah!" When the man didn't drop me, I calmed down slightly as I stared up into his eyes. "Hehehe. Now for the kiss~" Once his lips touched mine, he stayed like that for a while until he slowly leaned back and placed me back on my feet. "That was great Ace. You've definitely impressed me this year. How about we go inside and keep warm there until we return to the docks?"

"Sure, that sounds great. I love you (Y/n) and I can't wait for next year"
