Law x Reader {I Can't Be Sick!}

Law's Pov

"Say ahh (Y/n)-ya... Come on I just want to check your temperature" When the girl refused to let me put the thermometer into her mouth, I placed it back into my pocket before I leaned down at her side. "(Y/n)-ya cheer up I don't want you looking so upset" I knew she hated being sick but (Y/n) was ordered to stay in bed until her fever broke. "B-But I can't be sick Law! It's Valentine's Day and I'm going to miss it, how is this fair!?"

"Shhhh~ It's alright (Y/n)-ya. How about I put together a nice little dinner for just the two of us?" I didn't care for Valentine's Day but my girlfriend did so I needed to indulge her each year. "Really, you'd do that for me Law?" Smiling back at the girl I started to nod before I pressed my lips to her forehead. "I'll have everything prepared for later tonight. For now, just get some rest, my love"

"Can you fluff my pillow and I'd like another blanket too?" Taking care of the girl while she was sick may have been a difficult task for some but I loved it. It gave me the opportunity to care for my loved one and make sure she made a speedy recovery. "Sure, head up... and which blanket would you like (Y/n)-ya?" Fluffing her pillow, I set off to the closet to retrieve the girl's favorite blanket. "The yellow one with your symbol on it" (Y/n) always wanted that one when she was sick so I grabbed it before laying it over the girl.

"I'm just going to finish reading some of my medical books you don't mind, right (Y/n)-ya?" When she shook her head, I turned out the room light before I flipped on my desk lamp and started reading. "Night Law"

A Few Hours Later...

(Y/n)'s Pov

"Watch your step (Y/n)-ya... Alright, keep your eyes closed until I tell you to open them" I had woken up from my nap a short time ago and Law had informed me it was time for our date. So, here I was waiting to see what the doctor had prepared for me. "Okay~" Law always gave the best surprises so I knew this dinner was going to be spectacular. 'Cough' 'Cough' As another one of my coughing fits started, I tried to keep my eyes closed but I couldn't help when they opened. "Here (Y/n)-ya drink this"

"I-I'm sorry Law I couldn't keep my eyes closed anymore... Dinner looks great though" Law had pulled a chair out for me as I approached the table and got a good look at the food that was prepared. "I made it all by myself (Y/n)-ya though the meat got a little burnt" Hm, it wasn't often that Law tried to cook anything for himself. "I'm sure everything will taste amazing Law. Thank you"

When I took a bite of the dinner, he prepared I expected the worst but since I was sick the flavor didn't reach my taste buds. "This is delicious Law~ You've really outdone yourself this year. I love you" His smile slowly brightened as a blush appeared on his cheek and it made him look adorable. "I love you to my love~ Eat up then we'll move on to dessert. Happy Valentine's Day"
