My Love -A Bughead Story

The Day We Met

Betty's Point Of  View: 

When we walked up to them no one was talking, so to break the silence I said "hey." The taller, muscular boy looked at me and said "hi." It was awkward so I decided to introduce myself and my friends to them. "Welcome to Riverdale High, I am Betty Cooper and these are my friends, Veronica Lodge, Kevin Keller, Cheryl Blossom and Toni Topaz" I said well pointing to each of them when saying their name. The same boy who said hi to me said, "I am Sweet Pea, this is Fangs" He said pointing at the shorter boy, "and this is Jughead, Jughead Jones." Perfect, a name to go with the hottest man alive. "Nice to meet you." Kevin said. "I am very excited to have you all join us at our school, we aren't your tour guides which means we should probably head off to class soon, but we can bring you to the office to get your schedule and meet up with your tour guide, if you would like." Veronica said. "Well actually, I am your tour guide, so I can bring you to the office to pick up your schedule and show you around" I said after Veronica. "Sounds good" Jughead said. "Ok, bye guys I'll meet you at lunch!" I said waving at my friends well the walk to get lunch. "Ok so you came from the front entrance that leads to the picnic tables, over here is the cafeteria" I say well pointing to the doors. "and right around this corner you will find the office" I say with a smile. We walk in and get their schedules and I finish the tour shortly after 1st period. I have 2nd period which is my free time for today so I hang at the 'Blue and Gold' and try to come up with an issue for this weeks Newspaper. After I go to 3rd period and 4th period and then head over to the cafeteria to get lunch. I sit with V, Kev, Cher, and Toni. When I look over I see Jughead, Sweet Pea and Fangs with their lunches looking all lost so I call them over. "Hey! Guys! We sit over here if you want to join us!" I say with a half smile. "Yeah sure." Fangs says. They come over and sit down for lunch. We talked about things like, hows your first day been, what classes they had, what it was like being a Serpent... things like that. According to them being a Serpent isn't dealing drugs, and they certainly are not dangerous. They are a family, aw how cute. 

Jughead's Point Of  View: 

"So whats it like being a Serpent?" The girl with red hair asks, I believe her name is Cheryl... "Its not like what Northsiders think, that's for sure. We aren't drug dealers, nor are we dangerous. We are more like a family." Fangs said. 'Way to make us look soft' I think. "Very cool.." Veronica said. I know I should be paying attention to the conversation but I can't get her name out of my head. Betty... Betty, Betts. She is gorgeous, even her name is beautiful. I snap out of it when I hear my name. "Jughead..?" Betty asks. "W-What?" I stumble. Way to go Jughead, great first impression. "I was asking what you guys like to do in your free time." The blonde said. "Oh, well I really like to ride around on my motorcycle, and eat at pops. I also really like writing, it's weird but I'm a writer.." I say kind of ashamed. "Cool!! I work at the schools newspaper! Maybe you could join? Its just me right now, and kind of hard to put together a newspaper by yourself." Betty chuckles. "Yeah, sounds fun." I say. The day blew by fast, I had English, Math and Chemistry after Lunch. When I had free period I walked over to the 'Blue and Gold' where I found Betty. "Hey.." I say well walking into the small room. "Hey!" Betty said all cheery. "So, I was thinking about what you said.. joining the newspaper..? How would I do that?" I asked. "Well it's simple really, just print me out one of your pieces and I'll read it, if I approve it your in." Betty said. "Ok, I'll bring one tomorrow." I said. "Ok, so what are you doing tonight?" Betty asked me. "Umm.. not much, probably going to the bar." I said. "Oh cool.." Betty said sounding disappointed. "Well.. I have to get to my last class soon, I'll see you tomorrow?" Betty said walking out of the door before I could say 'yeah.' 

Betty's Point Of  View: 

When school is over I go home and lay on my bed. Frustrated. One I was feeling so sick but I pushed through it, and two Jughead was so hot, but he seemed like a player like c'mon, going to a bar on a Monday night? He has to be hooking up with girls. An hour goes by and I can't stop thinking about him so I call V. 

*on the phone*

B- Hey V, whats up? V- Not much bae, finished doing my homework, you? B- If I tell you, promise you won't tell anyone?!? V- Of course B, now tell me! B- Well to be honest I can't stop thinking about those 3 boys. Ok to be exact I can't stop thinking about Jughead. V- OMG YOU ARE SO CRUSHING!! B- W-What no I'm n-not! V- It's so obvious! B- Oh no, is it really? V- Yeah, you were practically drooling on him today. B- What for real?!? V- No, I'm kidding B. B- Haha good, but not funny. Now tell me how's it going with Reggie?? V- Well tbh he is dating Evelyn Evernever. B- OMG NO WAY! V- yeah... B- GURL HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT HE IS MISSING!! V- yeah! you know what though.. that guy.. was it Sweet Pea..? He is totally a hottie. B- For real, V. Omg YOU LIKE SWEET PEA, YOU LIKE SWEET PEA!! V- shut up, you sound like a child. B- I am a child. (we both laugh) B- well I'm going to go and have dinner, ttyl? V- Of course B, see you tomorrow.

*hangs up* 

Jughead's Point Of  View:

After school I finish up my homework and decide to head to the bar because I can't get Betty out of my head! I get to the Wyrm and get a drink. I go sit down and meet Sweets and Fangs. "Hey guys whats up?" I ask. "Not much, can't stop thinking about that guy, Kevin" Fangs says. "I wonder if he is gay.." He goes on. "Me on the other hand, that Veronica girl, damn she is hot." Sweet Pea says. "What about you Jughead? Find any of them hot?" Sweets asked. "Umm- no." I say. "C'mon tell us the truth Jughead, we know when your lying." Fangs said. "Her name is Betty, I don't know if you remember her but she is pretty hot." I say. "Atta boy." Sweets says well smacking my back. "Well guys you know me." I say getting up. "Haha, man get em'" Sweets says. 

I get up and look around for a girl to distract me. I find someone, her name is Katy I think. I don't remember to be honest, I grab her a drink and kiss her. She kisses me back. We went to the back and made out. When we finished I hopped on my motorcycle and drove home, wishing Katy was Betty more then ever.

This part isn't as long as I had hoped it would be but I wrote this at 1 am on a Monday so please don't get mad. Btw we will be getting into Betty being sick soon! Just remember she is pretending so she hasn't really acted different.
