After the long talk with Lacey, I made my way back home and up into my room. As the sun sat on the horizon behind all the trees, I sit in front of my window looking out to the rest of the woods. I sighed out when I heard a knock on my door. After a bit of silence the door was finally opened and the unknown person came in. "Hello, milady." Edward said formally. I stay turned towards the window, not speaking to him. "As you are aware, today is your wedding day." He continued. "I have maids coming in to help you put on the wedding dress and other things needed to be ready for your wedding. " He said. I turned to him, the sunlight hitting the back of my head forming a light shadow over my face. "Why do you act as if nothing happened?" I ask him, knowing full well he was aware of the previous night. "I beg your pardon?" He asked in a bit of shock.

I chuckle a bit, turning back to my window. "I'm not a child Edward. I know why my father sent you. He sent you because he was too coward. He feared that I would say the same thing as yesterday." I said. "You should not speak down on your father like that." The young man said, straightening out his dark green coat. "Why? Are you telling him this conversation?" I asked. It was an innocent question but I knew he understood the true feeling in the question. He falls silent, staring at the back of my head. "I'm wishing you nothing but the best on your wedding day, young mistress." He said, walking out of the room. "Of course you do..." I whisper out loud to myself.

I get out of my chair, waiting silently for the maids to be sent in. Three young ladies walk into the room with their long black dresses and white aprons. "Hello your highness. We are here to prepare you for your wedding day." One of the ladies said. I stood there silently, not bothering to reply. They began getting all of the needed necessities, one of them began working on getting my dress on. I was put into a simple long white dress, the end would drag along the ground. The sleeves where long and puffy, going onto my shoulders. The top half of the dress was a simple heart shape looking design, stopping right just above my torso. The rest of the dress was silk and wide. I looked at myself in the mirror in awe. As much as I hated the person I was getting married to, the dress was very complimenting to the rest of my features.

One of the maids began on my makeup, another started on my hair. My makeup was very light, only a bit of mascara and blush with a little bit of lip gloss. My h/c hair was tied into a bun that wasn't neat nor messy, bits of hair was sticking out the front that made it work a bit more with the dress. I wore small white heels and had a bouquet that included white roses, lilies, light pink tulips and orchids. I looked at myself in the full body mirror, looking a bit in shock. "Is this really happening." I ask emotionless. "Yes, your majesty. You'll soon be a queen." She said with a warm smile. I would normally be excited at the thought of that, but the thought of being with our enemies son made me sick to my stomach.

The 3 maids escorted me out of my room and down into the throne room. My father wore a white suit where my mother wore a foot length white dress with her hair out and a lily behind her ear. My father looked at me, barely giving me a smile whereas my mother tried her best not to cry. "Oh my dear y/n, you look absolutely amazing!" She said, dabbing her eyes. "Oh, what do you think." My mother asked my father, putting her hand lightly atop of his. He shrugged. "She looks quite lovely." He said, standing up and walking out of the room. My mum stared emptily at the doorway, unaware of me staring at her. "Mother. Did you agree to this?" I asked. She looked at me in confusion. "What?" She asked. "Did you agree to me getting married to this... prince." I said, almost cringing. She stared at me blankly for a bit. "No. I quite frankly wanted to wait a bit. But alas, your father thought it would be best to do it today..." She said, standing up and walking down to the doorway my father previously passed through. "I just hope you can forgive me for it..." She said, flashing me a sad smile then turning away.

I stare awkwardly at the doorway, letting everything process in my mind. I sighed out in anger, turning around and going through the opposite doorway. I walked into the sitting room, looking at the piano awkwardly. I tried playing earlier this morning, but the wedding was stuck on my mind. I sigh out, rubbing my temples in an attempt to soothe my nerves. "Remember the plan you and Lacey made, it'll all be ok..." I said looking over at one of the grandfather clocks. The wedding was to start at 11, ending at 1. The large clock displayed that it was already 10:45. I stare down at my hands, looking at the ring that Lacey gave me. I sigh out, dropping my head out of guilt.
