Everyone was quiet as they took in Elizabeths words.
Sure the seven deadly sins was the most powerful group of knights which should already make them a target, but you know that it was so only because of Elizabeth was beyond confusing and scary.

"E-Ellie...who are you..who are you really?" Diane shook. She was beginning to realize that she in fact didn't know her best friend at all.

Elizabeth smiled sadly " I suppose you deserve to know the full story now..."

Arthur had been kind enough To let the sins rest at his castle, and also lend a private room so that Elizabeth could tell her story without anyone listening in.

"first of all I want you to understand that I am the Elizabeth did you know, I am just also more" Elisabeth startet "You already know I'm a goddess...since I told you that. But I didn't tell you then I was one of the goddesses fighting in the war 3000 years ago" Elizabeth said with a lowered head.
She had managed to convince all her friends that her mother had been a goddess who broke free from the seal, had Elizabeth, and then died.

However due to her and Galand fight with Galand the her friends had now been shot to conclude that tar was a lie.

"but theres more isn't there?" Slader asked, positive that there definitely was.

Elizabeth nodded and continued.
" 3000 years ago I fought proudly as a member of the goddess clan. It was my duty, not only as a goddess, but also as the goddesses next ruler" she paused to race for head to see the surprised looks and her friends faces.
"That's right, my mother is actually the queen of the goddesses, called the supreme deity"

Diane was still baffled but she was constantly trying to piece everything together, so she asked "is that why you've been able to live so long? Because you have some kind of...godly power?"

Elizabeth suddenly felt as if a rock had been lodged in her throat.
"No thats-..um..." she stumbled over the words.
But then a comforting hand was put on her shoulder. It was Merlin, who had been by her side throughout her entire explanation.
"You see...I... I sinned..."

"Wrath?" Arthur asked. She was named the sin of wrath after all.

"No i...I'm sorry I-" Elizabeth tried to continue but she found not stop a single tear from escaping her eye.
Diane was the first one to notice and she jumped out of her seat and went to hug her friend.

"I'm sorry Elizabeth we didn't mean to pressure you!" She apologized as she hugged Elizabeth who immediately hugged her back.

"Thank you Diane, but I need to tell you this...if I wait it will only make things much more worse" Elizabeth said, and as Diane released her Elizabeth wiped her eyes before taking a deep breath.

"Goddesses' rules are strict, especially during war time...but I broke the worst one...because I fell in love with the enemy...I fell in love with the leader of the Ten Commandments"

Everyone gasped.
Having just seen what one of them could do it was hard to imagine how she fall for the leader. Presumably the worst if the bunch!
She didn't delve more into that subject, but instead got to the point.
"Before the demon clan was sealed at the conclusion of the war, I went to my mother and begged her to spare him...that's how she found out about us...so she cursed me with immortality...to live in a world without him forever...she, along with I, never imagine the seal would be broken" Elizabeth ended her story and was met by only silence.
Nobody knew what to say, what should one say after they realized heir friend has been through so much suffering?
