Third person POV

In the dead of night Zeldris had gone to the forest nearby.
His brother had gone off somewhere alone as he so often did, which today was of relief to Zeldris as he could finally do what he'd wanted to since the second they broke out of the seal.

He landed with a thud on the mossy ground outside of a cave which entrance was a giant crack in the mountain side.
It hadn't changed.
He made his way in, and through all the right passages that seemed to have collapsed over all the many years.
Then finally, he huffed as he made it to the main area of the cave. A big open space,
But then, when he looked in front of him he almost forgot to breathe.

"But...how? Why?..." he mumbled to himself, stumbling over the words.
The seal that had held the Vampires. The seal he had put up.
The seal that had been trapping his beloved had been broken.
Although it was futile zeldris ran to everyone crook of the cave, every possible hiding spot, hoping with all his seven hearts to find clues as to what had happened, when it had happened, and why...
But he found none.

'In my slumber in the seal..I shall dream about you' he was still able to hear her final words to him now.
However he tried to rid his head of all the horrible thoughts.
She could still be alive.
She had to be.
So thinking that maybe the clues was outside he went back out, but as he did he spotted someone who wasn't there before.

A human traveler.

Zeldris slowly gripped his sword but the man didn't seem to notice and began speaking to him.
"Were you checking out the vampires cave, boy?"

That grabbed his attention.
Somehow this location was known to people.
As the vampires cave no less.

"Yes...old man, can you tell me what happened to them?" Zeldris nodded and looked back towards the cave entrance.

"To the vampires you mean?" The old man set down his bag on the ground and raised an eyebrow.

"Yes"

"Oh well" he sighed what was clearly a sad sigh.
"10 years ago the seal that'd been holding them broke and those pesky vampires descended upon Edinburgh. Killed almost every human there..."

"I have been to Edinburgh recently" Zeldris mumbled, but then asked his next question clearly. "Was the destruction caused by the vampires?"

"Well not all of it, Edinburgh was already done for so the kingdom of Liones sent this knightly order to get rid of the vampires...let me see what were they called..the...ah yes, the seven deadly sins! They caused most of the destruction you see"

Zeldris's eyes widened and he couldn't breathe.
"The vampires...They're...dead?"

"Of course they are" The man said with a smile that Zeldris wanted to wipe clean off.
"Couldn't have beasts like that roam this la-AGH!" The man didn't get his chance to finish the insult as Zeldris had heard enough.
He cut off the mans head in a clean swipe with his sword.
He kept standing there on the ground that had already begun soaking up his blood.
He shook, and then he raised his head to let out a ear piercing and broken scream.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

At sunrise both brothers had reunited on the outskirts of the town.
Both in opposite moods. And both hiding their true feelings.
Zeldris, who until this night had had hope was now broken.
And meliodas whom had lost hope was now healing.

"Zeldris, I want you to cut down on the brainwashing and the number of demons we have in this town. It's absolutely wasteful, this town has nothing to offer" he told Zeldris who was looking away from him the whole time.
This was already a ploy to help the seven deadly sins.
Elizabeth had told him that she had come here to help the town, and so meliodas assured her that she could leave that to him.
