THIRD PERSON POV

—3 months later—

In the three months that had passed it had been confusing times, for everyone, but Zeldris thought it especially strange.
Or rather, his brother was the one who was strange in Zeldris's eyes.
He would often sneak off to some unknown place and be angry when Zeldris would ask him about it. And then, it would seem that after his brother would sneak away, an attack on the demons would commence soon after, sometimes their missions had even been foiled.
The problem was that the warriors was unidentifiable, however Zeldris was sure it was the seven deadly sins, and it bugged him that Meliodas couldn't see that as well.

Zeldris hated to admit it, but in truth his brother was giving off a very strange vibe.
Whatever it was he was sure that his brother was hiding something.

A million possibilities ran through Zeldris's mind, but none of them made sense.
Then he remembered.
Meliodas would also sneak away to some unknown place 3000 years ago.
Zeldris leaned back against a rock and closed his eyes, trying to remember it all clearly.

Yes it had been exactly the same. He would go off and grow irritated when anyone would comment on it.
Was it linked to what was happening now?
It had to be, right?

'But nothing in this world is as it was back then, the only thing consistent is'...zeldris opened his eyes slowly.
"The goddess" he mumbled, but then he shook his head violently, wether it was shock or denial he wasn't sure.
"No no, it can't be..."
How could he make sure?

The sins was arriving back in liones to go over battle strategies with fellow knights.
However before they could even begin, their plans were changed as a holy knight that neither of them knew by name ran up to them, announcing that the king would like a word with all of them. And that it was serious.
The knight then escorted them to right outside the throne room where the sins thanked him and he took off as they opened the large doors.

Baltra and Elizabeth made eye contact as soon as she stepped into the room, and having a long friendship with him she had gotten very good at reading him.
"You look worried Baltra...what's wrong?" She asked softly as she and the sins walked to stand directly in front of his throne where he was sitting.

"I got a mysterious letter yesterday. It is addressed to the seven deadly sins...it is signed by someone named Meliodas" Baltra explained and handed Elizabeth a letter which's seal had already been opened.
Elizabeth carefully took the paper out of the convolute, however before she found read it Ban spoke up.

"Why would he have it sent here? He normally sends it directly to you doesn't he?" He put his hands on his hips.

"There could be numerous reasons why" Elizabeth simply shrugged finally unfolded the piece of paper within to read it.
"Seven deadly sins, a large shipment of human sacrifices will pass through Zhuhur Valley tomorrow, I greatly advice you be there to stop it. - Meliodas" Elizabeth read aloud.

"That was way more formal than usually. He didn't even put a cute little note to Elizabeth" Diane noted, not once again Elizabeth dismissed it saying that it wound make sense if he was in a pressed situation.

"Who is this man? And how would he know of this?" Baltra asked, and only then did Elizabeth remember that she had in fact never explained anything to baltra.

"Meliodas, he's my boyfriend, but also the leader of the commandments" Elizabeth explained and baltras fave morphed into pure shock, pressing Elizabeth to explain further.
"He's secretly on our side which he shows by sending us letters such as this one" Elizabeth continued and smiled as she hoped Baltra would understand.
