THIRD PERSON POV

"Where the hell are we Monspeet?!" Derieri looked around the room that she did not recognize as she yelled at Monspeet, clearly still in a bit of a shock after the battle.

"Derieri you-" Monspeet tried to calm her, but then she stood up onto the bed and continued to look around.

"Where is that bastard Estarossa?!"

"Easy..." Monspeet stood up and put a hand on her shoulder "He's not here, you're safe" Monspeet continued and Derieri huffed. Monspeet had it all wrong, it wasn't that she was scared, rather she was angry and wanted to cave Estarossa's skull in.
"We're...." Monspeet trailed off.

"What?" Derieri pressed him, but before he cound say it the door to the room opened and Derieri's eyes widened as she locked eyes with nine other than Elizabeth.
"You..." she said surprisingly soft, the previous anger that she'd usually display around Elizabeth was nowhere to be found.

"I'm glad to see that you're up and doing well, Derieri" Elizabeth smiled brightly at the demon, hoping she wound accept her kindness.

Derieri looked between Monspeet, who couldn't look Derieri in the eyes, and then Elizabeth, and then she looked down at herself and let out a deep and loud sigh.
"You saved us again, didn't you?"

"Yeah..." Elizabeth nodded and stepped closer, Although sun bring careful.

Derieri averted her eyes from her savior.
"Well...thanks"

Elizabeth was slightly taken aback, but happy nonetheless.
"You're very welcome"

Derieri smiled slightly.
During her and Monspeet's time in the small village she had after all Learned that Elizabeth did what you did out of genuine kindness.

"Monspeet, you already explained this to us" Elizabeth started. " but if it's not too much to ask I Think it would really help if we could get your account of what happened as well, Derieri"

"Yeah...I can tell you" Derieri nodded.

After Elizabeth had gone upstairs to check on Derieri who seemed to have woken up, the tavern became quiet.
And because of that it was only then that they began to take notice of Gowther.
He looked off in the distance with an unseeing look on his face. He looked worried.
Now that everyone thought about it Gowther had been displaying more emotions lately.

"Gowther, is there something on your mind?" Merlin asked, thinking she could get through to him. After all Merlin was the one Gowther was closest to out of all of the sins.

He looked up at her floating form, looking like he wanted to say something, but it would seem that he changed his mind.
"No... nothing"

"Oh really?" Merlin pressed.

"Yes" he looked away from her again, seeming almost agitated by her persistent asking.

"Then why do you look so worried if I may ask"

"No" she said quietly, surprising Metlinbabd everyone who was listening.

"What?"

"You may not ask" he tond her simply but firmly before he left the room, going upstairs. Probably to the attic where he could sit in peace and read.

But before going up to the attic Gowther stopped outside of Elizabeth's room, pressing his ear against the door.

"He seemed so desperate for some reason, wether it was desperate to kill us or get the commandments i really don't know " he heard Derieri explain to Elizabeth. It only made Gowther frown more.
He would guess that Estarossa had lost his mind to the thought of power after having b been the weaker brother for so long. It all got to him at once.

Gowther then walked away, going into the attic, not to read but to think.

He had to make it right.

He opened a drawer ne t to his chair and pulled out a large heart charm.
He let his fathers run over the pattern of it, relishing in the past memories that had returned to him.
After the battle of liones he had spoken to Baltra about it, being forgiven for his sin...but nobody knew of the other sin Gowther had to carry.

I know that this chapter is really really short compared to every other chapter and I'm so sorry about that, but trust me it's only this time.
I should've actually put all of this in the previous chapter, but for some reason my brain just didn't think of that then, because I actually thought well I could drag the conversation between Elizabeth and Derieri out, but that seem to be really hard actually.

This whole thing with Gowther Isn't sudden at all, maybe some of you have noticed it but I have been throwing small hints that his memory has recovered ever since the Istar chapters.
