Jay's P.O.V.

I didn't speak to Missy for the rest of the night or the next morning. I left early in hopes of not having to see her but she was up early too. I ignored her and grabbed some toast.

"Jay," she started to say but I walked out the door. It was too early for school so I went down the rec. When I got there Jordan was there. Me and him had kind of been mates at our last school but I hadn't spoke to him in ages.

"Alright?" he asked.

"Yeah you?"

"Fine." We just sat there in silence. It wasn't exactly fun but I liked having male company for once. I headed to school and went straight to form. I was almost there when Hayley grabbed my arm.

"Where you been?" she asked.

"Out," I replied and I walked into class.

~break time~

"Jay," I heard someone say. My head shot up. It was Miss Keane.

"Where's Missy today?" she asked me.

"Working at a burger van Miss," I told her.

"A burger van?"

"Yeah."

~that afternoon~

I walked up to Missy's room.

"Jay look," she tried to say.

"No you listen a sec," I told her. I sat down on the end of her bed.

"I am sorry about what I said. It's not true far from it and I guess, well I guess I was annoyed you gave up so easy," I said.

"It's fine. Look I am sorry too. I know you were only trying to help," she said and she gave me a big hug.

"I am gonna come back to school," she told me. I smiled.

KNOCK!KNOCK!

Missy ran down to get it and I followed after her. It was Aaron holding Greg.

"Babes, I am really sorry," Greg said.

"You got our telly?" Hayley asked.

"And our hair dryer," Missy shouted.

"He's already sold them but he is gonna pay his debt himself. Aren't ya?" Aaron said. Greg nodded.

"You moving back in?" Mum asked. Missy looked furious.

"If you'll have me," he said. Hayley rolled her eyes and I laughed.

"Alright and?" Aaron asked.

"And I will gave every penny I make," Greg told Mum.

"Scrounge," spat Missy. Greg said some shit about needing it for his mum and Missy lost it.

"No way! Out," she yelled and she pulled him up by his jacket.

"OUT! WE DON'T NEED HIM OR YOU!" she screamed at Aaron.

"Me?" he asked.

"You think I would fall out your feet for bringing this low life back," Missy screamed.

"Ungrateful cow," Aaron said.

"Don't speak to her like that," Hayley yelled as I tried to run at him. I probably would have if Mum didn't grab my leg.

"I-i was trying say thank you for helping me with Nas," Aaron told us.

"But Missy I love him," Mum said. I shook my head.

"How many times mum we're fine on our own," Missy shouted as she shoved both men out and slammed the door.

~the next evening~

Me and Hayley walked in. We had both been out seeing our mates. Well Lauren is a bit more than a mate but that's not the point. We came in and Missy, Mum and Aaron were sitting on the sofa.

"Oh do you guys wanna cup of tea?" he asked when we came in.

"What's he doing here?" Hayley asked.

"Hayley don't be so rude it's only Aaron. Aaron take no notice," Mum said.

"Got hold of the house already has he?" she asked.

"What's it to you?" Missy asked.

"The moment a bloke comes sniffing round here they got their feet under table before we know it," Hayley said as she stormed out the kitchen. To be fair to her she wasn't wrong.

"Hey what is your problem?" Missy asked as she followed her out and so did the rest of us.

"That's my boyfriend you're talking about," Missy yelled. I thought she hated Aaron but obviously I know nothing about how women think.

"Boyfriend?" I asked but everyone ignored me.

"He will be gone once he gets what he wants," Hayley shouted. Again she wasn't wrong.

"And knowing you you've probably already given it to him," Hayley said. Missy smacked her hard on the cheek.

"Missy!" Mum shouted. Hayley stormed upstairs and I turned on Aaron.

"This is your fault. If you hadn't come they wouldn't have argued," I shouted at him.

"Jay!" Mum yelled. Lets be honest Mum wasn't very good at the whole controlling her kids thing.

"Jay pack it in," Missy said.

"No. I finally see what they say at school is true," I yelled at her and I followed Hayley upstairs. I could hear her crying. I poked my head around the door.

"Hey can I come in?" I asked. She nodded, tears streaming down her face. I opened up my arms and pulled her into a hug. I always felt like I was older than Hayley. I don't know why. Maybe because I am 6"1. I stroked her hair and she began to calm down.

Missy's P.O.V.

I sat outside Hayley's door crying. I could hear her and Jay laughing together. I felt bloody awful. I was the only one they really had and look what I had done.

~30 minutes later~

I was still sitting by her door when Jay came out. My face was tear stained but he just ignored me and went downstairs. Then I stormed upstairs and I properly started crying. If Jay didn't bother helping me, I knew I had properly pissed him off.
