Jay's P.O.V.

The next day we had all cooled off a bit.

"Morning," I said to Missy.

"More like afternoon," she laughed. I chuckled.

"Where's Hayley?" I asked.

"Went out with Raz," she replied.

"And Mum?" I asked.

"Not sure," Missy answered. I sat down next to her. She wrapped her arm around me.

"I feel so crap. I should never have said what I said or done what I did," I told her.

"It's alright," she laughed as she ruffled my hair.

"I proper fucked up," I said.

"Yeah you did but it's not the end of the world," she told me.

~next day~

We were all rushing around getting ready for school when we heard a loud honking coming from outside. It was Aaron.

"Do you want a lift or what?" he asked us. She turned to look at us.

"I'm sorry," Hayley said. I don't think they had properly made up yet.

"I'm sorry too," Missy said and they hugged.

"Well what you waiting for?" Missy asked and we ran to the car.

~a few days later~

I saw Missy and Nas sitting together at lunch laughing about something. I slipped into the seat next to her.

"What do you want?" she asked.

"Err what part in the play did you get again?" I asked.

"I told you last night," she said.

"Err I forgot," I said. I hadn't I just really wanted her diet coke.

"Tatiana. Now can you please go," she said.

"Oh sure," I said as I walked away with the coke in my hand.

"Thanks for the coke," I said as I took a massive swig of it.

"You cheeky bugger," she shouted after me. I ran off straight into Miss Carter and the coke spilt all down her dress. She looked furious. Everyone was laughing.

"Ummm look at that," I yelled and pointed behind her. Miss Carter turned around and I ran out the hall. I came speeding round the corner and I saw Mr Bell.

"You alright lad?" he asked me.

"Yes sir," I said.

"JAY BOOTH!" Miss Carter yelled.

"What have you done?" he asked.

"Nothing," I said as I ran off. I ran out onto the quad where I could see loads of people. I could probably get lost in the crowd. I saw Kiaan and ran to him.

"JAY BOOTH HERE NOW!" Miss Carter yelled. She must of followed me out.

"Mate what have you done?" Kiaan laughed.

"Well I kinda dropped coke all down her dress," I told him. He burst into fits of laughter. Miss Carter walked over to us. There was no point in running.

"Go on, my office," she said.

"Tut tut naughty boy Jay," Kiaan said. I followed her to her office.

"I didn't mean to I swear," I said. She raised her eyebrows.

"I didn't!" I protested.

"I know you didn't but never the less you ran away from a teacher," she said. I sighed.

"So off you go to isolation," she told me.

"What?!?" I shouted.

"Go on."

"Fucks sake," I yelled and I stormed off to isolation.

~the next afternoon~

I was lying on the sofa watching some crap on the T.V.

"Where you going dressed like that?" I asked Missy. She was wearing sports gear. I took a sip of my drink.

"Football with Nas," she replied. I choked on my drink and Hayley began thumping me on the back.

"You football?" I asked once I stopped dying.

"Yeah Nas wanted to do it," Missy explained.

"Enjoy," I laughed.

~the next evening~

I was walking downstairs to get a drink when I heard Missy, Nas and Aaron come in from some night out. I don't know why but I hovered by the door to see what they said. You never know what you might learn from eavesdropping.

"Why didn't you just leg it out the door?" Aaron asked.

"In these heels? Besides I have seen her run and," Nas trailed off.

"What her? How much have you had to drink?" Aaron asked. They all went quiet.

"Maybe I should get off. I've got an early start tomorrow. I will get off," Aaron said, breaking the silence.

"I'm gay," Nas blurted out.

"Fucking plot twist," I said a bit louder than I meant to. Missy stormed round the corner and pulled me into the living room.

"Ok," Aaron said to Nas.

"What? Is that your answer?" asked Nas.

"I didn't know there were a question," Aaron replied. They both had forgotten I was in the room but Missy still had hold of me.

"What 'ok'?" Nas asked.

"What, what do you want me to say?" Aaron asked her.

"Well I don't know," she replied. Honestly, women aren't half confusing. I tried to slip out of Missy's grip but she still held on.

"Well, it seems you want me to say summat," he said.

"Well, no, I'm, I'm looking for an honest answer Aaron," Nas said. I was extremely confused.

"You're being aggressive," Missy said to Nas.

"No, I'm not Missy, I'm just defending myself," said Nas.

"He isn't attacking you," Missy said and she finally let go of me. We all stood in silence and I tried to leave the room but Missy pulled me back in. I gave up trying to leave and sat on the sofa.

"I'm sorry," Nas said.

"Hey," Aaron said as he ran over to comfort her.

"No, I'm sorry. I'm sorry."

"Nas, hey, come on."

"No need to apologise. It makes no odds to me at all, if you're into lads, lasses, llamas," Aaron comforted.

"Llamas?"  I asked but Missy gave me a death stare and I shut up. Nas and Aaron hugged.

"So?" Nas asked me once Aaron had gone.

"So what?" I asked.

"So what do you think?" she asked.

"Well err I mean I have more competition for the ladies but who would pick that," I said pointing at Nas, "Over this." She laughed.

"Come here," she said and she pulled me into a tight hug.
