Hazel's pov

For the past week Augustus and i have been looking at house that are for sale. Our parents didn't want us to move that far away from them.

We found this house a block away that was pretty cheap. I scheduled to see it later this afternoon with Augustus.

My parents said it was a good deal and it was the perfect distance away from both of our houses.

So im waiting for Augustus to pick me up because we are going out for lunch then we are going to check out the house i was talking about.

Since summer just started its really hot today. I put on a pair of short shorts, white vans and a white lace crop top. My oxygen tank and cannula kill my vibe though.

I hear a car door close and i say bye to my parents and walk out. I see gus and run up to him. He picked me up and said "You look ravishing Hazel Grace!"

"Thank you, i just think my cannula and oxygen tank kill it." I said frowning. He put me down and said "Well cannula or no cannula and oxygen tank or no oxygen tank i still think you look hot"

I started blushing and said "Thanks." Gus nodded and smiled. He started leaning in as i got on my tippy toes.

We kissed and then pulled apart we looked at each other and i thought. Augustus always give me that boost i need and he knows it.

We kissed again but this time for a little longer. After we pulled apart again. Gus said throwing his hands up. "Lets go get our house!"

I threw my hand up to and said "Yay!" We got in the car and started driving to the house we might buy.

As Augustus was driving he reached out for my hand but i stopped him. "Are you sure you can drive with one hand?" He looked over at me quickly and said "How hard could it be?"

We both smiled and grabbed each others hand. I was surprised that gus was doing pretty well with just one hand.

"Off to our maybe new house!' Augustus said diving into the drive way of the house. "Lets do this!" I said opening the car door.

Hopefully its gonna go well.
