Hazel's pov
Gus would be getting out of the hospital today so i have to be at his house at around 12 because he said he wants to take me on a picnic. I took a shower and got dressed. It was really hot so i put on high waisted shorts an black with gold poka dots crop top and the black converse. I heard a knock on the door but before i could answer it my mom got to it first. "Hi gus nice to see you all healthy again." "Hi Mrs. Lancaster and yeah im all better now" then i walked downstairs and saw gus. He smiled at me and held my hand. "Ready?" He asked me then i nodded and said bye to my parents. "You look cute today" gus said. I blushed a little and said "Thanks babe" We drove to funky bones and sat down.
Gus' pov
"Hazel grace i have very important news to tell you" i said then she looked at me concerned. "Gus what is it"" Well hazel grace it seems i am.... NEC!" I said then Hazels mouth was wide open. "Oh my god Augustus!" Then she hugged me and then we kissed. Its been forever since we kissed. while hazel read An imperial affliction on my bed. I finished my last round and shut off my tv. I walked over to my bed and laid down. Hazel closed her book and put her head on my chest. I wrapped my hand around her back and traced little circles on her back. This was the same position we were in when we went to Amsterdam on that night we went to my hotel room. I kissed Hazel's for head and we slowly drifted off to sleep.
