Gus' pov
I finished packing and now im on my way over to Hazel's house to help her out.
I get in my car and drive to hazels house. While im driving i see an ambulance pass by me in the direction im going in.
I start to worried and panic. Don't worry gus. Hazel Grace is fine. As i turn the corner to her neighborhood i start to get worried. Then i see that hazels house is clear. No ambulance.
I let out a breath that i was holding in ever since i saw the ambulance. I park my car in hazels driveway and get out.
I walk to her front door and knock on it. To my surprise Hazel Grace answers the door. "Hey gus." She says smiling.
"Hello hazel grace." I say happily.
"Come in!" She says signaling for me to walk in. I walk in and Hazels parents are no where to be seen. "Where are your parents?" I ask smirking.
"They went out for a afternoon date, so they will be back at 10 or 11." She says smiling. I smirked then she walked into the kitchen. "Im making chicken for dinner." Hazel Grace said.
"Yum." I said wrapping my arms around her waist. She put the chicken on the pan and it started sizzling. Hazel jumped and bumped into me.
She started laughing. I could hear that laugh everyday, non stop. I turn her around and stare into her hazel eyes. She stops laughing and just stares at me too.
As if we read each others minds we both lean in to kiss. The kiss reminds me about the one we shared in Amsterdam.
We always kiss but they are short. This kiss was a long and passionate one. Hazel jumps and wraps her legs around my waist.
I put my hands on her butt for support as she wraps her arms around my neck. I start walking upstairs almost falling a couple of times which made hazel laugh.
I lightly throw her on the bed and hover over her. She laughs as she wraps her arms around my neck. I smile and lean down to kiss her.
In about five minutes we are both completely naked. I took off my prosthetic leg and set it beside the bed.
We made out for a while and as i was about to move on we hear the front door unlock. "Hazel why does it smell like something is burning." I hear hazels dad ask.
"Shit" hazel says as she gets off of me. "Gus put your close on quick!" She whispers. I get up and throw on my shirt and boxers.
I try my best to quickly put on my prosthetic and my jeans but that took a lot of time. I look over and hazel is completely dressed.
As i button up my shirt Mr. Lancaster opens Hazels door. "Haz- Oh hi gus." "Hello Mr. Lancaster. I hope you don't mind me coming over." He shook his head then looked at hazel.
"Hazel why is your shirt inside out?' I look over at hazel and indeed she put her shirt on wrong. "Um its new style that gus showed me..." Hazel is the worst liar, its cute.
"I hope you guys werent doing anything you shouldn't be doing while your mother and i were gone." "God, no dad we werent. Why are you and mom early anyways?"
"Oh your mom is waiting in the car we just came to check up on you." Hazels dad said. "Well everything is ok. Hazel and I were just packing." I said nodding.
"Ok then. Ill see you later Hazel and Augustus, if your still here." He slowly left and when he did hazel opened the door to check if her dad was really was gone.
She sighs and takes off her shirt. "Woah" i whisper but i guess hazel heard me because she laughed and said "Calm down, im just fixing my shirt "
I blushed a little. "Im gonna go check on our burned dinner." Hazel said opening her door. "You coming?" She asked smiling.
Im madly in love with Hazel. Her smile, her laugh everything about her i love. She's prefect. "Yeah.." i said getting up.
We walked down stairs and saw that the chicken she put on the pan earlier was completely burned. "Wow." Hazel said lifting the pan and flipping it over.
The chicken was completely stuck. After a minute we got the chicken off. We threw it out and washed the pan."What time is it?" Hazel asked.
I took my phone out of my back pocket. "6." I said. "Do you want to order something?" She asked. "Im not really hungry." I said.
"Yeah to be honest i never was hungry." I couldn't hold it in anymore. "So what do you wa-" Hazel started but i interrupted her by kissing her.
She wrapped her arms around my neck. She pulled us apart. "How much time do we have?" She asked. "6 hours." I said. Hazel smiled and kissed me passionately.

I woke up and opened my eyes slowly. Through hazels window i could see that the sun was setting. I look down and see Hazel sleeping.
Her head is on my bare chest. I pick up my phone and look at the time. Its 10. I don't want hazels parents walking in and seeing hazel and i both naked in hazels bed.
I slowly get up not wanting to wake up hazel. I put on my clothes and decide to write Hazel a letter before i leave. I kiss her slowly and lock her door.
I look at her one last time before i leave.

Hazel's pov
I wake up and reach over for Augustus. His side of the bed was empty. I sit up and quickly cover my bare chest with my bed cover.
I look at the clock on my nightstand and see that its 11. My parents are probably home by now. I notice something else on my nightstand.
Its a letter.
Dear Hazel Grace,
Its looks like the tables have turned. I am now the one writing you a love letter. I still have mine :) I woke up around 10 and knew your parents would be coming home soon. I got up and got dressed but decided to write you a letter. Hazel Grace you look beautiful. You look so beautiful Hazel. I have seen you like nobody else has. They don't know you like i do. I closed your door so your parents don't walk in on you. Ill see you tomorrow Hazel Grace, get ready for moving day! We can have more of these nights except i don't have to leave early so your parents don't catch us ;) Get used to waking up to me! Goodnight Hazel, I love you so much.

I smile after reading his note. Augustus is the only person who has seen me naked and i plan on leaving it that way.
I get up and put all my clothes back on. Sure enough my door was locked. I walk down stairs and see my parents watching tv.
"Hey guys!" I greet them. "Hello Hazel." My mom says. "So what did you and Augustus do?" My dad asks suspiciously. "Oh my god dad we packed!"
Yeah "packed". We didn't get any packing done. "Oh so your all set for tomorrow?" My dad asks. "Yep" i say nervously. "Lets go check." My dad says challenging me. Oh god no.
"O-Ok" i studder while getting up from the couch. "Sam... Cant you just believe hazel." My mom says but my dad keeps going to my room.
I take a deep breath and open the door. But to my surprise everything was in the boxes. Augustus. "See dad before you and mom left nothing was packed. Everything is in a box." I say cheerfully.
My dad nods in amazement. "Okay, well goodnight hazel." "Goodnight dad." I say as i close the door. I slid down the door in relief. "Augustus just saved my life." I whisper.
I get up and go to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I look at myself in the mirror and notice something red on my neck.
I pull my hoodie down and my eyes widen. I see a medium sized love mark on my neck. "Augustus!" I yell. "What did you say?" I here my mom ask.
"Nothing i said... oh gosh. Yep i said oh gosh." "Okay..." my mom says in confusion. Well looks like im going to have to buy some turtle necks...
