Rory's cereal was spilling from her spoon as her jaw dropped, she blankly stares at Hermione, who was clutching the paper on her hands so tightly that it was starting to wrinkle. ''I'm sorry what?'' she asks as she let her spoon fall and splash both of them with milk.

From the Slytherin table, Pansy Parkinson and her squad of giggling girls (including Ivory, who Rory tried to ignore), were staring at her, their eyes piercing Rory's soul as envy ate them alive.

''Princess, natural beauty and pure-blood princess,'' Hermione repeats.

Rory began to clean the mess and she scoffs, she could feel the daggers the Slytherin girls were sending pierce through her body. ''I couldn't care less about that, what's wrong with that woman? Why is she pinning us against each other?'' Hermione lends her the article. ''Rita Skeeter is a woman too, don't we get enough shit from men that we have to be against each other too? Where's the sorority, lady!''

''Rory, you're yelling at a piece of paper.''

''And for a boy? Come on, she's putting us against each other for a boy? Come on! Let's just ignore how incredible we are, and all that we have accomplished! We are now Harry Potter's girlfriends. Mujeres florero. It makes me sick.'' She rolls her eyes and sets fire to the newspaper with a wave of her wand. ''This is bullshit.''

''Oh, Merlin!'' Hermione starts putting the fire out.

But Rory is too deep in thought to care. This was the way that Ron had been feeling for the past month, Harry Potter's best friend, just that, not even his name or surname, not the great things that he had done. And although she understood where he came from and his grudge, in the past, she knew that she would never really, like, really understand unless she had to go through it. And now, she was.

     And the boy was right.

Of course, Rory didn't blame Harry, he was a victim just like her. It was Rita Skeeter who she blamed, her whole demeanor never sat right with Rory. There was evil behind those eyes, greed, probably narcissism. But also, a determination to gather and write, if she wanted something, she was going to get it, if she had to hurt someone in the process, she would.

Rory kept going on and on. ''And a love triangle, for the love of Merlin! Everyone who knows me, knows that I hate love triangles! And even more the book ones!'' She points at the book sitting next to her.
