When in Doubt (Nightmare x Blue)

Alternate ending

Blue's POV

I woke up in the dance studio. I was tied to the radiator at the far end of the room. I started yanking at the rope, hoping it was loose, but then I heard Nightmare.
"That won't work."
"Let me go you bastard!"
He looked shocked. "No...no, don't say that. You love me. You've told me that, you...you love me!"
"Not once I saw what was in that drawer! You killed Fell!"
"He abused you! He wasn't worthy to even LOOK at you!"
"And Honey?"
"Him? He said I would be a bad influence, that I couldn't love or protect you. I'm the only one who can!"
"And...Dream?"
"He was going to tell, I couldn't let him scare you..." He purred, coming closer to me.
"I can't believe it took me so long to confess to you. Why do you think you got the job in the bar that I always visited? Why do you think I was so forward with you? You made me feel on top of the world! You said I was a good person, and for you, all for you, I was good! I'll always be good, just for you! I'll do anything for you, anything except leave."
"I don't love you anymore."
"What?" Nightmare clenched his fist. "Don't say that."
"Why not? You can't force someone to love you."
"No, but I can keep you here until you love me again."
"That's the same damn thing!"
"Don't swear please. You'll stay here and learn to love me. And then we'll be together again." He smiled.
"Never."
"You think you have a choice?" He growled, shoving his hand into his pocket and pulling out a pocket knife. "I can hurt more people, if that's what it takes."
"Wh-what, wait! No!"
Nightmare smirked, his one cyan eyelight narrowing. "Then you'll learn to love me. Soon."
Blue looked down. Two impossible choices...
Nightmare lifted his chin up. "You married me. You're mine. All mine. Forever." He kissed Blue then, and Blue cried, but kissed back, scared of what would happen if he didn't.
"Night?"
"Yes?"
"I'm pregnant."
Nightmare froze. "Really?"
Blue nodded. "Let me go, please."
"Do you love me?"
Blue sighed. There was no getting out of this.
"Yes."
Nightmare smiled and untied him. Blue stood up, knowing if he ran, he'd be hunted down, and someone would be killed. After all, when in doubt, trust the one that loves you.
And he knew that Nightmare loved him. He just hoped he could show it differently some day...
