When in Doubt (Nightmare x Blue)

Blue was in a field of echo flowers. They were waving, despite there being no wind present. He sat down, bored, and began to weave a flower crown absentmindedly.
There was a thud and a grunt from behind him. He turned to see Nightmare facedown in the flowers behind him.
"Are you okay?"
"Fine. After all, you're the only one I'd fall for."
Blue threw the half-finished flower crown at him. "No."
"Aw, come on, that was good!"
"Pick-up lines and puns are two different things. That was a pun."
"Can you forgive me?"
Blue looked thoughtful for a moment. "I guess..."
"You're the best." Night wrapped his arms around Blue from behind, leaning back to pull them down, side by side in the flowers. Blue gave a loud squeal as he toppled backward, almost hitting Nightmare in the face with his elbow on the way down.
"Night!"
"Shut up."
"Rude..."
Night buried his face in the crook of Blue's neck. "Just be quiet and love me..."

Blue woke up with a smile. Since he and Nightmare had started dating, that had been common every night. Night would summon up some pretty place in their minds, then cuddle him and refuse to let go. As revenge, Blue had changed Nightmare's contact name to Sir Noot Noot of Snuggleville. Blue's name was just Princess, or that was what Nightmare said it was, he hadn't actually shown Blue the contact name.
Dream was still a giant fanboy about it. He would even take pictures when he thought they weren't looking.
Nightmare's team had taken it surprisingly well, except for Fell. Then again, Fell was always a grump, so maybe that was just typical.
All in all, this was working out a lot better than the other relationships he'd been in...so far. Blue didn't want to admit it, but he kept wondering if Nightmare was really in love with him.
