Jasper's Everything

Three

Its been a week since Jasper has been gone, a week since I started volunteering for the hospital, and a week that I befriended the Cullens. Edward may be broody, but it's part of who he is, Rosalie may put on this tough girl act, but she's just protecting her family for whatever reason that is, Alice is like me, loves shopping, and lastly Emmett. Well, he is like a brother I wished I had.

Naomi smiled as she walked out to her car. She was ready to go, well that's what she thought when she slipped. "Ow!" She said as she looked at the ice. "Wrong kind of shoes."

"Drew!" She looked to see her dad and smiled. "Are you okay?"

Naomi giggled. "I'm fine. Just the wrong kind of shoes."

Charlie shook his head. "Remember what I told you last night."

"You won't be home till later because you are helping the county next to us about another animal attack."

"Good girl." Charlie said as he kissed her head. "Be careful."

"You know me."

If I knew that today my life would change, I wouldn't have gone to school, but seeing Jasper. That was the best thing ever.

Naomi walked in and saw Jasper. She smiled as she walked to her seat and looked at him. "Feeling better?"

"Yes, ma'am."

Naomi smiled as she took her seat. "It wasn't the same without you here." She said. "I gotten to know your family even with Bella's glares." Jasper looked at her not liking that sound. "What makes her suspicious of you and your family?"

"I don't know." He replies.

Naomi nodded as she started her assignment. "Enjoyed your vacation?"

"Yeah."

I never knew what he was thinking, but I was glad he enjoyed his time. We work together and made small talk about the weather outside. His smile and the way he looks at me made me feel...special.

When class ended, Naomi and Jasper walked together. "Emmett is childish."

"There's nothing wrong with that." Naomi said. "I'm just like my mother so I know all about it."

"You seem to be childish yourself." He said.

Naomi looked at him a little worried. "Do you not like it?"

"Of course I like it." He said as he moved her read hair. "Your just being yourself."

Naomi smiled as she kissed his cheek not seeing Bella, but she already had something coming for Naomi. "Thank you." 

Jasper smiled as he opened the door for her to see his family. "I'll talk to you later."

"Okay."

I didn't know that what was about to happen was a sign. I never saw the van as I was looking through my bag for my keys. Till I heard the tires.

Naomi turned around to see the van and looked at Jasper scared. Jasper looked at her horrified. Before Edward could grab him, Jasper was already by his mate's side as the van hit Jasper's hand. Naomi looked up at him and hugged him. "Thank you."

To say daddy wasn't happy about what happened, was something I never thought I see.

"Drew?" He called out.

"Here." She replies.

"I'm so sorry, Drew."

"Tyler, I'm fine, you're fine so let's not apologize again."

Tyler nodded as Charlie hugged his youngest. "Your mother is worried sick."

"Awe man." She replies. "She's probably on her way."

Charlie smiled knowing how Renee is over their children. Especially Naomi. From birth Naomi has been the sweetheart in the swan family. Carlisle walked in with a smile as he saw his favorite person. "Naomi, your supposed to make the patients happy not you being in here."

"Ah. Today is just not my day." She replies. "Is Jasper okay?"

"Jasper?"

"He saved me." She tells him.

Charlie smiled as Carlisle was shocked that Naomi didn't ask any other questions.

If I knew that Bella would start asking questions about Jasper, I would wished to be hit instead of saved, but I couldn't do that to myself. I love to live life the way I want to. I'm glad that Jasper saved me because he became important to me than anyone has.
