Twenty one

Today, I was taking Naomi and Mary to see Renee. First time meeting her and I was nervous. I know Naomi would help me, but I can't help it. I'm insecure...

"Jasper, you are not a monster." Naomi says as she wrapped her arms around him. "I love you and I know you are strong. Stronger than the others. If only you would stop thinking other wise."

Jasper sighed as he knew she was right. He is strong and because of Naomi and Mary, he can do this. "I'm sorry, darlin'." He said. "I was scared.'

Naomi stood in front of him smiling. "You have us. You have been nothing, but loving and protective. Jasper, I can tell that you are putting yourself down. Something that I know you shouldn't be doing. I love you for you and I know that you are strong."

She's right. I am strong. Stronger than the others and I have to stop putting myself down.

Naomi smiled as soon as she saw her mother and ran over to her. Jasper wasn't to far behind her with a sleeping Mary. "Is that.."

"Mary Katherine Hale." Jasper says making Naomi smile.

Renee walked over smiling as she took her granddaughter into her arms. "You are a blessing." She says as she looked at Jasper and Naomi. "Thank you for keeping my little girl the same girl she always was."

"I didn't like the idea of her changing because of what she went through. I was there to be her shoulder to cry on." Jasper says as he saw Phil and Naomi hugging. "She made me the person I am today."

Phil chuckled and shook his head. "Drew was always like that. She could make a killer who didn't want to be caught, turn him/herself  because she can guilt trip them in a heartbeat." Phil says as they started following the women.

"Yeah." Jasper says as he looked towards Naomi to see her looking back at him. "She's my world and so is Mary."

I wasn't joking. Naomi Drew Swan is my world. She always made me feel stronger than what I was before. Her and Mary are the reasons why I'm not putting myself down anymore.

Naomi smiled as she was enjoying the sun with her mom. Jasper held Mary in his arms. "Drew." She looked at Renee. "You have become a strong person. I have never and I mean never met a girl who went through such a terrifying event."

"Mom, I have Jasper to thanks for that." She says as she looked out towards the beach. "If it wasn't for him, I would never be who I am today, but Jasper refused to let me fall apart. He wanted me to be the same Naomi he met on my first day." Naomi looked inside to see Jasper smiling at Mary. "If it wasn't for Jasper, Bella would have gotten what she wanted. Me to be a broken girl."

"I'm glad Jasper wouldn't allow that to happen to you." Renee says as she grabbed her daughter's hand. "Drew, no matter what just know that you have all the support here. Mary is such a beautiful girl and Jasper..."

"What about him?"

"I can tell how much love that boy has for you."

Naomi smiled as she looked inside. Jasper looked at her making her smile. She has everything in this world. Her family, Jasper, and Mary Katherine. All she could say was that she was faithful to have this life she has now.

That night, I heard Naomi singing Mary to sleep. Those two are my world, but she has to know about Victoria and Bella.

Naomi turned and smiled, but faded as she saw the look on Jasper's face. "What's wrong?"

"Come here."

Naomi sat down as Jasper started telling her how Alice can't see Bella and that Victoria is coming after her. The red head started crying causing Jasper to hold her. "I promise you that you will be safe."

"Promise?"

"I promise."
