^ This chapter takes place 3 days after the last chapter.^
*Louis' pov*
I've only been here 3 days and I'm starting to lose my mind! Dewey wont stop talking about himself, Beakley keeps death glaring me, and Scrooge keeps pissing me off. And don't even get me started on Della, she keeps trying to 'bond' with me, she also wont leave me alone! Huey and Webby aren't too bad, they at least know when to leave me alone. Also found out Deen is supposed to be back to 'make sure I'm still here' in about a month so that's fun! I still don't know how he would have managed to figure out I was part of the phantom thieves..... He could always just be trying to find an excuse to keep me here..... "Hey.... Louis.... Can I come in?" I hear Huey say after knocking on my door. "Sure why not." I say as I get up to unlock the door. "What do you need?" I ask as I walk back to my bed and grab my phone, just holding it for now. "Well I was wondering if I could ask you a question..." He starts as he closes the door. "Sure...." I say, looking over at him. He's slightly leaning against the door with his hat in his hands. 'Definitely nervous...' I think, remembering that being something he does. "Well.... Umm..... I was wondering.... How long you are going to stay.... You know after they take the monitor off....?" He says, now looking at the floor. "No longer that I have to, once I'm free to leave I'm gone." I reply in a dead tone, not really caring to look over at him. "O-oh... Ok then.... I'll leave you alone." He says as I hear the door open. "Love you little bro...." He says before leaving. I just scoff, that phase means less than nothing to me coming from a member of clan Mcduck.*30 minutes later*
I hear a light knock at my door, followed by Duckworth telling me I'm needed in the foyer. "Just a sec." I say as I get off my bed. Sighing, I slip my black hoodie over the grey shirt I'm wearing and put on my boots. I honestly hate walking around without them, and only hell knows why they need me downstairs. I grab my phone before making my way to the foyer. 'Wonder why they need me...' I think as I reach the foyer, stopping dead in my tracks. " There you are Sharpie!" I hear as I still stand frozen. There, just a few stairs away from me, stood Goldie O'gilt. My teacher and mom that I haven't see in a year. "Hey.... Goldie!" I say as I finally snap out of my little trance. I've missed her so much and she's finally here! "Let's talk in my room." I quickly say, knowing that would probably be the best place. "Lead the way Sharpie." She says as he walks over to me. "Lad! Sh-" Scrooge starts before I quickly cut him off. "If I'm going to be stuck here then I'm at least talking to someone! Oh and I know you've been monitoring my calls." I say as I start to walk away, Goldie not far behind. Once we reach my room I lock the door and use a spell to soundproof the room. "So.... How have you been kid?" Goldie asks as I sit down next to her on my bed. "Pretty good, you know before I was kidnapped!" I yell as I flop backwards onto my bed for dramatic effect.*Goldie's pov*
I laugh slightly at how over dramatic he's being. Lou always did like being dramatic, good to see that hasn't changed. "So, how have you been mom?" He ask looking over at me. I smile slightly about him calling me mom. "Pretty good." I say as he sits up and rests his head on my shoulder. "Where have you been anyways?" I ask as I wrap my arm around his shoulder. "Lot's of places, but I've been staying with some old friends in Dawson." He replies, smiling sadly. "You miss them, don't you?" I ask, as he looks up at me. "Ya.... Other than you they're my only real family....." He responds, shifting his gaze from me to the floor for a moment. "But I have you back now!" He say, once again looking up at me. I smile as I pull him into a hug, which he quickly returns. "You never lost me in the first place Lou.... I'm your mom, I'll alway be here when you need me." I say just loud enough he can hear me. I feel his grip tighten slightly as he looks up at me and smiles.*4 hours later* *Louis' pov*
"I'm being serious!" I yell as Goldie just laughs, almost falling on the floor. "It's not that funny!" I say as I laugh slightly. Goldie's phone rings as she starts to calm down, wiping the tears that started to form in her eyes. "Ya..... Nope...... If it's that important.... Ya.... See you then..." Goldie says before hanging up. She looks over at me and give me a small smile. "I gotta go, but I'll be back soon to check on you. Call me if you need anything." She says as she gives me a hug before walking towards the door. "Love you mom." I say before I think, partially hoping she didn't hear. "Love you too kid." She says as she leaves. I smile and look at my phone now bord once again.Hey kiddos! Hope you enjoyed this chapter! Had lots of mom Goldie in it, so here's a picture of her and Louis I drew!
