*Della's pov*
'I can't wait for uncle Scrooge to tell the others! This adventure could be the thing we need to bring this family back together! Hopefully I can get closer to Louis, he's practically ignored me the whole time he's been back! Hopefully I can get him to say more than a few sentences to me.' I think as I make my way to the dining room, running into some of the others on there way down as well. "Hey mom! Do you know when our next adventure is? Also can I fly?!" Dewey asks as he runs to my side. "Soon, and maybe." I say as we reach the dining room, most of the others already there. 'Only missing Louis.' Right as I think that Louis walks in and takes a seat. With Lena and Violet here he's sitting next to Lena.
*Louis' pov*
I make my way to the dining room, lost in my thoughts. 'The 'L' on the cover is kinda suspicious, maybe I was supposed to find it. But if so then why? And who would have managed to get it into the manner?' I think as I finally reach the dining room, sitting in my usual seat. Unfortunately Lena is sitting next to me, and I can tell she's suspicious. I don't think she knows about the book or the ring so I should be good, but I should still be careful. Guess I'll just have to make my moves wisely. "So Uncle Scrooge, when is our next adventure!?" Dewey asks, overly exited, as Mrs. Beakley gave us our dinner. 'So she finally gave in and made pizza.' I think as I look back over at the others. "Well lad our next adventure will be next week! But we'll talk more about it after dinner." Scrooge says, clearly excited to tell us. 'Fucking hell!! Why did it have to be an adventure!' I think as I start eating, noticing small glares I keep getting from Lena. 'Yep... Definitely suspicious of me.' I think as I eat, giving Lena small glares back.
*Lena's pov*
'He's definitely up to something! Question is what?.... Why would he read a useless book on shadow magic, he can't even use shadow magic! What is he planning.....' I think as I give him a small glare, getting one in return. 'What are you planning?...' I think as I decide to shift my attention to the others, just listening to their conversation.
