“Yeah, but we didn’t know you were the chain user so she didn’t really find out.”
Gon explained.

Everyone was in the room. Leorio and Kurapika sitting in front of the three kids, Crona included.
Gon was talking about how he and Killua were caught by the Troupe while Crona listened in, interested themselves.

"And you Crona?" Kurapika spoke, making everyone look at Crona.
"Gah! Oh sorry I didn't expect the sudden attention" Crona blushed, fidgeting their hands nervously.
"We wanna know how you got stuck with those criminals." Gon said.
"I bet it's because of your abilities right?" Killua chimed.

"Abilities?"
"Oh I would like to know too!"
Leorio and Kurapika smiled.

"Ragnarok can turn into a weapon! Isn't that cool? He said that he used to be big and could turn into a dragon thing!" Gon said excitedly, doing the talking for Crona.

"Yes, that's basically the gist of it. I had to fight one of the members." Crona included.

"Huh?" They all eyed the meister in shock.

"Excuse me?" Kurapika said seriously.
Crona felt fear again from Kurapika's stern tone. They didn't like it when this happened. It always felt like he was going to do something to them.

"What do you mean you had to fight one of them? You know how strong they are? You can't underestimate them." The blonde continued.
"W-well I-I didn't mean too. He started it. We kind of got into an argument and he didn't like me."

"Do you have injuries?" Leorio scooted to the edge of the cushion, ready to inspect Crona's wounds if they had any.

"Funny you assumed we lost, oreo man." Ragnarok laughed.
"HAHA You should have seen the look on that gremlin's face! Actually all of their faces! They totally underestimated us! Right Crona?"

"Wait- You took one of them down?!"

Everyone continued to stare at Crona with shock.

"Whaaaaaa! That's amazing! How?" Gon scooted closer to them.
"Did you use the dragon?" His eyes shined.

"Didn't you hear me earlier kid? I can't do that in this form. I'm too weak because of this brat." Ragnarok bonked his partner's head.

"Which spider?" Kurapika said, sounding invested.

"Number 2, Feitan. He's short, wears all black with a mask, doesn't talk much." Crona replied, making Kurapika sigh.

"I believe I saw a spider's corpse with that description outside of the building I was in during that time." He said, resting his hand over his heart.
He then looked back up at Crona with a smile. "I'm glad that you're safe."

The meister looked back and a smile slowly grew.
"Gah! You must be so strong! You really got us worried that you got hurt." Gon hugged Crona, making them jump by the sudden touch. They had their arms raised away from the boy, not knowing where to place them. They didn't get hugged often so Crona still gets jumpy by sudden affection.
As they looked at the smiling boy, they started to lower their arms. About to return the hug, sort of. But Gon got pulled back by Killua.

"Gon get off of Crona, I don't think they like being touched." Killua said, holding Gon.
"Oh sorry I didn't know" Gon smiled apologetically.
Crona shook their head telling them that it was okay, but kinda wished that they hugged back, reassuring themselves that it's okay to feel this way.

"I also was in contact with Hisoka. Have you seen him?"
Kurapika questioned.
"Whaaat? But isn't he a Spider?" Killua said.
"We made an alliance. He helps me, I help him. But now that his target is dead, I don't know what he will do."

"That creepy clown?" Ragnarok spoke. "He gives me the heebie geebies, I don't like the way he looks at us. Especially after our fight with Feitan."

"Oh so you've become one of his fruits too huh?" Gon sighed.
"Fruits?"
"Yeah. He finds pleasure over strong people. He waits till one is strong enough to kill." Killua shivers.
"No no. I don't think I'm a 'fruit' or whatever he calls you. I only encountered him once and that was to return his card." Crona sweats, hoping what they were saying we're false.
"I don't know Crona, he kept licking his lips when he looked at us." Ragnarok admitted.
"I told you to look away, Ragnarok!"
"I was wondering what he was up to! What else am I supposed to do?"

The swordsman sighed, giving the possibility of becoming a "fruit"

"Welcome to the gang." Leorio chuckled, making everyone giggle.

While everyone was smiling and having a good time being together, Kurapika's phone buzzed from a notification.
"Huh? It's from Hisoka?" He looked at the screen.
Everyone turned their direction to the Kurta in suspense.
Crona turned their smile to a sudden frown. They were feeling worried.

Kurapika opened the message and his whole face turned to distraught. Not believing his eyes.

"Kurapika?"
"What does it say."
Gon and Killua stood up in worry making Crona's heart beat faster.
"N-no!" Kurapika whispered to himself, grabbing the phone tighter.
Leorio leaned over to be able to read the message himself. After reading the text, he too felt shocked.
Crona felt their breathing feeling uneasy, literally anything could be on that screen.

"The bodies were fake."
Kurapika stated, making Gon and Killua widen their eyes.

Crona felt worse. They were still not safe. 'Are you serious? Again? I felt happy again. Now I have another group of people tracking me right when I'm with the right people. These people will kill me if I ever get back!"
They thought.
'I hate how this always happens! I'm such a burden! They're going to get hurt because of me! I can't-"

"Crona?" Leorio noticed Crona's uneasy breathing. This made everyone turn to the shaking introvert.
"Crona!"

There the meister passed out. Making everyone yell their name in worry.
