"Stir faster!" Ragnarok nagged his partner who was frantically stirring the cake mix, gripping the whisk.

"I never baked before! You really expect me to know what I'm doing?" Crona snapped back.
"We shouldn't hurry, we're still waiting for Gon to get back."

"Well he's taking forever!"

As the little demon yelled  that, the boy opened the door with a bag in hand.

"Hey sorry if I took so long hehe. But i got the Choco Robos."
He raised the bag indicating the needed ingredients were inside.

"Well you sure took your time."
"Gon! Oh how glad i am to see you." Crona smiled.

"Oh were you having trouble?"

"Yeahhh, and distractions too."
"Well its not my fault you were doing such an awful job." Ragnarok crossed his little arms.
"Hey! Don't act like your the professional here, you never baked either!"
"Ummm look who has the chef's hat here." Ragnarok pointed at his little hat on top of his head.

Gon nervously smiled at the two and walked over to cake batter in the bowl.
"Well it looks fine to me. All we need is..."
The boy grabbed a small box of ChocoRobos and plopped a few in.
"He will for sure love this." He grinned confidently.
"You sure?"
"Oh i know for sure."
"If you say so."

As the two kids were adding a few more chocos, and the little demon munching a few secretly, there was several footsteps being heard from afar.

"Crona, do you hear that?"
"What-"

There they noticed.
The birthday boy was on his way.

"Aaaaah!!! Hurry Hurry put it in the oven!!" Gon frantically waved his arms and Crona too was nervously shoving the cake in the oven and hiding all the evidence.

"Hey! What are you guys doing!?"
Killua bursted the door open while Kurapika and Leorio panted.
"Couldn't keep him distracted, sorry guys." Kurapika said between breaths.

"Had to hang with these oldies all day. Where were you guys?" Killua pointed at the two behind him making them sigh in annoyance.

"Oh ya know hehe just hanging with my best bud haha...." Gon nervously laughed along with Crona.

"I thought I was your best bud!" Killua flustered.
"And what's with the chef hat." He continued, pointing at Ragnarok.

Crona and Gon were sweating bullets not noticing the left over evidence.

"What? Don't agree with the fashion statement? Shouldn't be surprised, all your outfits can't compare to my drip."
Ragnarok waved his armed.

"Haaaah??? You don't even- nevermind i don't want to fight with you."

"Hey do you smell something burning?"
Leorio sniffed the air.

Black smoke appeared above them making the two bakers shocked.

"Shoot!" Gon ran in the kitchen, leaving Crona behind. 

"I knew this would happen." Kurapika laughed while opening the windows.

Gon walked back with a burnt chocolate cake surprisingly still standing. He added a nice touch of blue candles aswell.

"Happy birthday to you~" Gon shakingly sang nervously while walking towards Killua.

The others clapped along with the boys singing and gathered near the birthday boy making him blush in embarrassment.

"W-what w-wait what is this?" He blushed.

"It's your birthday so Gon and I wanted to make you something." Crona smiled.

"And we had the duty to distract you with shopping and exploring but you caught along instantly." Leorio laughed with Kurapika grinning.

Killua felt a light plop on his hair and noticed it was the small chef's hat that the little demon was wearing.

"Psh your more stylish than everyone here though." Ragnarok grinned.

Gon set the cake on the table and grabbed a knife.
"We should eat huh! We added your favorite candy in too!"

Everyone backed away while keeping a smile showing that they really really don't want to eat the burnt cake.

"Hey guys! C'mon we worked hard on this." The boy looked over hiding the fact he doesn't want to eat it either.

"How about this. We can always make another, this time with supervision."
Kurapika said while setting a plastic bag having a set of cupcakes inside.

"Oh I'm glad your so smart, Koopicaca." Ragnarok smirked earning an irk from the Kurta.

"Thanks guys...never really had this before." Killua fidgeted with his fingers.

"Happy Birthday." Crona handed a cupcake to the boy with a smile while Ragnarok shoves two cupcakes inside his mouth.
