Chapter 4

Jessica's pov

The next morning I woke up from a nightmare of my mom and dad leaving me alone with my sister in a abandoned house and then the lights flashed on and off and my sister disappeared.

"freakin dreams 😑" I said to myself. I got up and went to the bathroom to take my shower after, I put on black leggings and a hoodie with a T-shirt under neath. I then put on some mascara and lipstick. Thankfully my hair didn't fight with me this morning and I managed to put it in a high bun.

I went down stairs, put two pieces of toast in the toaster and put on my white converse that were by the door. I grabbed the toast and my car keys and headed to school.

After I parked my car I saw Karina just standing in front of the car.
"Hey?" I said.
"Hi, walk with me to class?"
"Sure." I said

As Karina and me walked to class, I heard her humming a familiar song. It was fireproof by one direction.

I hummed along with her until we got to class.

After first period I had to walk to my next class alone since Karina and I have a different class.

I hoped I wouldn't bump into Calum but obviously he has to follow me down the hall and ask me questions.

"Hey Jess, how's it going?."

"It's going good, how about you."

"Its good too, we'll catch ya later." Then he walked away.

When I was walking I bumped into this boy that I have never seen before.

"Omg I'm so sorry."

"It's okay, I'm Ashton."

"I'm Jessica."

"That's a beautiful name"

"Thanks" I said blushing.

Ashton wore black skinny jeans, a T-shirt with long sleeves covering most of his hands.

"say this is my
First day here at this school, would you mind showing me around?"

"I wouldn't mind at all."

I walked Ashton to his next class pointing out things as we
Went. I noticed that we both had the same class so we sat next to each other.

At lunch I sat with Ashton too. then Karina came over and said "who's this?" With a large grin on her face.

I blushed and said "Ashton, he's new around here." then Karina sat with us.

After school I saw Ashton at his locker and then we both waved at each other and I walked to my car.

When I got home my mom looked like she was in a rush and so did my dad.

"Honey watch Aliza for a couple hours." my mom said.

"Okay when do you think you'll be
Back?"

"Around 11:00" she said while her and dad walked out the door.

"Aliza" I called.

She came running over to me looking confused.

"Mom and dad went out but we can have a little fun." I said

Then we both ran to the kitchen pulled out a cake mix and started baking a cake. After we frosted it we ate most of it.😂

Then we put on blasting music and started dancing like stupid asses.

After that we went up to my room and started watching Netflix. We watched a movie about these two sisters and how they thought their life was worse than the others. Then they switched places and became closer and ended up being best friends.

After my sister was asleep I fell asleep too.
