"He's already chunin?" Kakashi asked, as they both walked in the streets of Konoha. His hands shoved in his pockets, wearing his typical Anbu Vest, arm protector, a tanto behind his back, and his Dog mask on the side of his face. Hikari, wore the same, as well as his Fox mask that he tied up on his waists, for he was the new Anbu this day. His hair had grown for the past years–2 years actually–and now it almost reached his waists, almost.

Who was known as Kitsune (Fox). At first, people were curious to why Third Hokage gave a Fox mask to the new member of the Anbu, considering the throwbacks of the Kyuubi Attack that had happened a few years ago. The Kyuubi is literally the Nine Tailed Fox. Fox masks were forbidden, and yet here we are. He's been pretty busy with the number of missions alread which is about:

And he just became an Anbu last week, after the day of the Chunin Exams.

A lot of things had happened, and so far, things were going quite smoothly before the upcoming event that's about to drop like a bomb in between his peace.

Just to put it simply, Hikari had recently volunteered to become Anbu after Itachi had finally become Chunin at the age of 10. It was his idea that he recommended Itachi to enter the Chunnin Exams without the need of a team, much to Fugaku's immediate approval. Asking a quick permission from the Third Hokage was a lot easier, and even if he wasn't there early on, Itachi still would've been given the position not too soon anyway. And now that his student was now chunin, then it appears Hikari's job as Itachi's jonin sensei is done.

The change in positions didn't stop them from still maintaining a well mannered friendship. Hikari would often bump into Itachi and get automatically buy some dango together while they chat on the bench under the tree to talk about their day, so far non had came up too serious.

Hikari paid back the Third Hokage. His missions were mostly assigned for him and his future sensei, AKA Kakashi-sensei, which he thanked the Hokage for.

He was Anbu now, which he had never been before in his entire fucking life. He became Hokage as a genin since the Chunin Exams couldn't take place in a damn war. So all he basically knew about Anbu was that they were mysterious, stealthy, scary, and pretty much powerful. But of course, trust in the Leaf is pretty difficult, most Anbus tend to be one of Danzo's ROOT Organisation thingy. It means shit, that he knew much of.

Still not answering to Kakashi's earlier question, Hikari briefly this moment to dig through his pocket and reread the list he wrote in case he forgot.

The small piece of paper was something only he could read. No, it wasn't written in codes. It's just, the handwriting is purposely scrawled in a way that made someone think only a child could write somethings as this.
