"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before."
Edgar Allan...
Alex...he cannot see anything right now. All he sees...right before his blackened eyes...is darkness. That is all he can see...if he even is seeing at all. Alex...he cannot move. He cannot speak. He cannot smell. He cannot touch anything at all. He is stuck in a place that he has no idea how to get out of. He is seemingly forever in a place that he cannot escape, and even when he tried to move his arms...his arms felt as though it is pinned completely down by so many weights, and the weights, that of which, feel about as heavy as an entire continent on his entire body. He cannot even move the head around at all. It is as though something on the back of his head is stuck to him and is preventing him from seeing around the entire place with his eyes. And speaks of his eyes...he cannot open them for some reason, nor can he move his eyes. It is as though...something has pierced a nail into each of the eyeballs to prevent him from opening and seeing what is before him. He cannot speak...like his very own blood from within his body...is trying to choke his throat, filling the space inside of it, so that he cannot say a word to anyone that could help him out of whatever he is inside of right now. He cannot feel...like he is not on the ground anymore. It is as though...he is not on Earth this time, or even worse...it is as though he is dead, as the nervous system inside of his body has shut down on him. All over...it is as though Alex is trapped inside of his own body, as if his very body...has turned into nothing more than his coffin. But Alex...is not going to give up just yet. He is not going to stop in trying. He is going to try and move his body in whatever way that he can think of.
But as he began to try to move...he heard a voice inside his head.
...a...x...
'Huh?'
Alex thought to himself...as the voice he heard inside of his mind...sound so...so familiar. But he simply stay back to work...as he tries to keep on moving once more. But it still wasn't working for him. But even so, he didn't stop.
...le...
'Who...who is there?'
Alex spoke out, as he heard that voice again. He doesn't know why...but the voice sounds like something that he deeply misses. It is like a distant memory that he has forgotten from the deepest, darkest, blackest, and coldest depths inside of his very mind.
'...lex...'
Alex still has no idea who that voice is...but the more that he heard the voice...the more it began to feel so...so familiar to him. He even stopped trying to move his body, as he continues to hear the voice that is trying to say his name.
'...A...ex...'
'...Al...x....'
'Alex...'
Alex's eyes widened, and he knows that this voice of from somewhere before. And it is a voice that he has not heard in such a very long time.
Just than...a shine appeared above his body, as Alex looks up and is exposed to the light. Alex looked as skinny as a skeleton, like the darkness has sucked up all life, as his eyes are sunken back, almost into the shadows, like his head has peeled away all of the skin on his head, and turned into a skull. Alex's fingers looked bony and withered, and could barely move his fingers, even by the slightest of movement. Alex's skin on his face, however, is also different. It looks corpse-white and is gaunt, looking very hollowed out, like almost his entire life had been sucked out of him. He even hears the voice calling out to him. Still calling out his name.
