It has been 2 whole days...since the day the Scarlet King's forces had invaded Fifth World. And...needless to say, it was not one of their finest moments to be involved in this sort of situation that was brought on them. Because simply saying that everyone is 'unhappy' about what had just happened...is just simply an understatement about how everyone really feels about all that has taken place. And the Scarlet King and his armies have done way more damage than they have let on from what they showed to the group.
It turns out that they did more than just attack New Genesis. Apokolips was also invaded by the Scarlet King's army, and it damaged Apokolips to a great degree. It was only fine, because of the female furies and the Parademons, who were present, and did all that they can to try and put a stop to the invasion of the Scarlet King. Apokolips is said to decay for a pretty long time. But because the Scarlet King and his forces have damaged it, the process of decay had accelerated to a very alarming rate. Alex and the others have no idea just how long, nor do they have any idea just what they did to damage Apokolips. All that they know, is that it is not good.

Atinai the Builder is doing everything in her power that she can in order to repair Apokolips and prevent it from being destroyed form the damage that it has dust rained from the fight of the Scarlet King's army of demons, as the New Gods living there really love their home so much that they will not let anyone else go out and replace it, and prefers to keep it the way it is. But the problem with this is that the progress she's making is minimal, and can only slow down the rate of decay. She than switches over to repairing the buildings that the Demons have destroyed. Knockout is doing all in her power to help her, along with Scott Free and Big Barda.
Thankfully...nobody was killed, although there were a bunch of people injured. Some of which were very serious for medical attention. James had to be with Amaya, who was scared for her entire life right now, and both Scarlet Witch and Zatanna had to use their magic to put all of the children to sleep, so that they all had to think that it was nothing but a dream. Or at the very least, erase their memory of what had just happened to them. And this is just to make a few of the stuff that has happened, and the few people of what they are doing right now.
Alex stood on top of one of the undamaged towers, as he looked at the horizon of the night sky that has just appeared. The stars present are very beautiful...but there are less when he last saw them. Most likely, the Scarlet King has destroyed them when he is attacking the many alternate Earths.
Alex is still wearing the suit that he is in, because now that he has the Astral Regulator, it can no longer be damaged, due to its powers protecting him.
His long hair waved at the movement and pattern of the winds, as he began to look around the entire world that he is in.
'This is very troubling. The Scarlet King, my father...he is clearly not going to stop at getting what he wants, which is the Astral Regulators.'
He than looked down at the ground, and than looked at his hand, which he raised up. He than clenched his first, as he thought to himself.
'We need to act while we still have the time to do so. The Scarlet King, he is doing all that he can to try and weaken us so that he can win in this war against us. But the problem is...how do we get even stronger than before?'
