Donghyuck slid into the chair next to Yeona, taking one of her earbuds and placing it into his ear. "So what are we listening to today?"
The girl rose a brow at him before looking back down at her textbook. "Camille Saint-Saëns, Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso Op. 28."
"Ah yes, whatever the heck that means."
Yeona playfully rolled her eyes and chuckled, her eyes looking at the picture of a castle in the textbook.
"Why are you even reading that? That looks so boring," Donghyuck said, scanning her textbook. She looked at him, her face dangerously close to his and Donghyuck widened his eyes.
"Well, if you were paying attention in class," she raised her hand and flicked his forehead, causing him to shoot back in pain. "We have a field trip to this very castle next week and I wanted to learn more about it."
He rubbed the spot that she had flicked and glared. "Why not wait until the trip? I'm sure a tour guide will tell us facts or whatever when we get there."
Yeona pursed her lips. "I just, wanted to learn more about it myself," she sighed and looked at the book page. "The queen who ruled this kingdom... she has the same name as me."
"Well what a coincidence."
"But what's weirder is that," she quickly flipped the pages. "It says that she never married, and her descendant has a surname of Lee. Which doesn't add up because her surname is Park. Something must've happened."
Donghyuck rolled his eyes. "Well you'll find out next week, won't you?"
"I guess so."
Someome coughed, causing both of them to look up. "Ahem, excuse me."
Donghyuck's eyes widened. "Minhee, what are you doing here? You hardly ever come to the library."
She scoffed and rolled her eyes. "I was looking for you. It looks like I found the reason why you've been skipping lunch so much," she said glaring at Yeona."Don't blame me, he's the one who wanted to tag along wherever I went," Yeona said.
"Whatever," she went over and grabbed Donghyuck's wrist, pulling it. "I know you like him. But that's too bad since we're getting married soon."
Donghyuck shot a look at Minhee, a sign telling her to stop."Married?"
Minhee sarcastically pouted. "Aw you didn't know? Practically the whole school does. My dear Donghyuck and I are getting married after we graduate- isn't that sweet?"
For some reason, Yeona felt her heart drop. But why? It shouldn't matter to her.
Donghyuck tensely watched her expression slightly change, his eyes taking an interest and mental note."Very sweet," Yeona said bitterly, gathering her things together before facing the both of them. "Congrats to the both of you."
Donghyuck bit the inside of his cheek, unhappy with Minhee and what had just happened.
Yeona forced a smile. "Well I'll see you two around."And with that she left the library, her heart and mind a mess.
