"He's so beautiful, hyungs... and cute... and pretty... he's not like anyone else I've met before." Yoongi said as he smiled. Seokjin smiled softly. "What's his name?"
Yoongi glanced at Namjoon as he spoke. "Kim... Kim Taehyung..."
Namjoon raised his eyebrows. "Seriously?" He asked.
Yoongi pouted. "You don't approve..."
Namjoon shook his head. "No not- I just... wasn't expecting it to be him. I do approve, very much so. He's the student council president! He a very bright student as well... he's just... a little... weird." Namjoon said.
Seokjin elbowed him. "Babe-"
"No, he's right, he is weird... unique... but I like it. I like him... but he quite literally agreed to be my friend like a hour ago so I'm gonna take it slow." Yoongi said.
Seokjin nodded. "Good."
Namjoon agreed. "Yeah, so you can focus on school." He said.
Yoongi sighed and smiled as he shook his head. "Okay well I'm gonna go find some clothes then try and organize my room a bit.
Seokjin and Namjoon both smiled. "Okay, I'll call you for dinner." Seokjin said before he got up and walked into the kitchen.
Yoongi got up and ran over to the door in the kitchen that lead to the basement, leaving it open as he ran down stairs. He gasped a bit as he looked at the open room. It was like a little lounge, black couches and a big TV with a brand new gaming system. Yoongi smiled brightly.
"THIS IS SO COOL!" They heard him shout. Namjoon chuckled before he got up and grabbed a beer out of the fridge.
Yoongi walked over to his room and gasped again.
"HOLY SHIT!" They heard.
Seokjin laughed as they heard a mantra of 'holy shit's' get louder and louder. Yoongi ran back up stairs and over to the elders. "HOLY SHIT!" He exclaimed one last time.
Namjoon laughed. "You like it?" He asked.
Yoongi smiled brightly. "DO I LIKE IT?! HYUNG- I-" Seokjin and Namjoon both walked over to Yoongi as soon as he started to cry.
They walked him over to one of the chairs and sat him down. "Aw baby, don't cry..." Seokjin said as he rubbed Yoongi's back. Yoongi sobbed into his hands, earning kisses on the top of his head from Seokjin and a soft back rub from Namjoon.
Yoongi sniffled and wiped his eyes. "I don't deserve it... I don't deserve you guys..." he said softly.
Seokjin pouted as Namjoon teared up. "Baby, don't say that! Why do you think that, Yoongi?" Seokjin asked.
Yoongi looked over at him and shrugged. "I just don't, hyung! I don't deserve to call you two my parents! Some other kid, whose life was worse than mine should be here with you!"
Seokjin sighed and hugged Yoongi close to this chest. "Yoongi, we don't deserve you. You are the best kid in the entire world and I am so happy you're ours. And we gave you that room because you are more than deserving of it. You can live and be a normal teenager now, no worrying about what you're going to eat or if you'll eat. Whether someone is coming home or not... not stressing about money. You won't have to be alone ever again." Seokjin said softly.
Yoongi cried more. "We love you, Yoongi. More than you know." Namjoon said as he gave the younger a couple of tissues.
Yoongi took them once he calmed down a bit and wiped his face. Namjoon smiled before he held his hand out.
"Come on! There's some cool things I wanna show you! Then Jin-hyung has another surprise for you." Namjoon said excitedly.
Yoongi smiled and took his hand before he grabbed Seokjin's and they all went downstairs.
—
"We're gonna add more things for you down here. Like a fridge, a little snack bar and maybe like a pool table or something- ooo! We should get a couple of old arcade games! That would be cool." Namjoon said.
Yoongi smiled at him. "Do we even have that kind of money-"
"Baby don't worry about money okay? I told you, just be a teenager." Seokjin whispered as he placed his hands on Yoongi's shoulder. Yoongi smiled and nodded before they made their way to his room.
The walls were painted black with red lightening wrapped around the room. Namjoon walked over to the desk that was in the corner and picked up a remote as Seokjin turned on the big over head light.
Namjoon waved the remote as he spoke. "You can change the color, the lady at the store said all the teenagers have these lights nowadays. Anyways, we have your desk that you better use. Then in the corner over there-"
"HOLY SHIT!" Yoongi shouted as he ran over to the drum kit. "What-"
"Jin-hyung said the only thing you ever talk about is music. That you write lyrics but never had anything to make the actual music. So, we bought-"
"Drums! And a guitar..." Yoongi said before he looked up and saw the second desk that had a brand new laptop and other music equipment. "Hyung..." Yoongi said as he teared up again.
"Ah Ah! No! Not yet. Come here." Namjoon said.
Yoongi followed him and Seokjin out by the other two rooms. "Is this where you tell me not to ever step foot in the wine cellar?" Yoongi asked.
Seokjin smiled. "Um no, this is our other surprise!" He said as he opened both doors. "Okay so we obviously haven't gotten to it yet... but, we are going to turn the laundry room into a studio for you." Seokjin said.
Yoongi stared at him. "No." He said. "No- I- you guys can't... you've already done so much for me-"
"You're our kid, let us spoil you." Namjoon said as he pulled Yoongi close and wrapped his arms around the shorter's neck as Seokjin moved over to the wine cellar.
"And this is gonna be a bathroom. It's not as exciting as the in-home studio but- oof." Seokjin said as Yoongi ran over and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you... those words seem so small compared to how grateful I feel... but I mean them sincerely." Yoongi said softly as he looked over at Namjoon. "Thank you..." Yoongi blushed as Seokjin grabbed his face and squished it saying how cute he was as he cried."
Namjoon smiled as he looked at his little family. "Babe... did you leave the food on the stove, on?" Namjoon asked after he suddenly remembered. Seokjin froze before he ran upstairs, Namjoon right behind him.
Yoongi smiled to himself as he looked around his space before he walked back into his room and laid down on his new soft bed.
Yoongi giggled to himself softly as he looked around his room. He had a really good day which he needed because of what happened yesterday. Yoongi pouted a bit as he turned on his side and curled up into himself as he thought about it more, the feeling of abandonment and being unwanted all these years crept up on him.
Yoongi squeezed his eyes shut and cover his ears as he fought his own mind, repeating in his head; I have a family! Jin and Namjoon want me! They're my family. Those words fighting against harsh words being screamed at him.
She never wanted you.
You were too much to handle.
You drove her away.
Jin and Namjoon will get rid of you as soon as you screw up.
No one will ever truly love you.
Yoongi grew tired, crying as he let all the mean thoughts eat away at his mind. He gave up.
