Chapter Nine

Yoongi avoided the cafeteria around lunch time. He wanted to go because he wanted to try and speak with Taehyung again, but he knew Jungkook would be in there waiting for him. So, Yoongi opted to see Namjoon early.

Yoongi smiled as he walked up to Namjoon's classroom door. He pulled it open to reveal Namjoon leaning back in his desk as he spoke to another student. Namjoon looked up at Yoongi and smiled. "Hey, Yoongs, Go ahead and have a seat, we'll be done in a moment." Namjoon said. Yoongi watched as the boy turned around and smirked at him, it was Jimin.

Jimin looked at Namjoon and smiled. "We can talk about it later, Mr. Kim." Jimin said before he grabbed his books. "Bye, Yoongi-hyung..." Jimin said flirtatiously.

Yoongi watched as Jimin turned around to leave, giving Yoongi one last smirk and wink before he sashayed out the door.

Namjoon arched an eyebrow as he looked at Yoongi. "I see you've already caught someone's eye." He said as he walked back around his desk and sat down. Yoongi stood up and walked over to Namjoon. "He's hot but... well, I can't.... Jungkook's here and-." Yoongi said.

Yoongi watched as Namjoon's eyebrows shot up. "Jungkook?! Jeon Jungkook?! Your-"

"My ex... yeah... I was suppose to meet him during lunch, but I just can't do it. Maybe I'll see him later... it's just too much today." Yoongi said with a shrug.

Namjoon nodded. "I understand, but I think you should let him know. Did he seem happy to see you?" Namjoon asked.

Yoongi nodded. "Very... I don't know what his intentions are, but I hope they aren't for us to get back together." Yoongi said.

"How come? I thought you loved him?" Namjoon said.

Yoongi shrugged. "There's... well... there's this boy who I met and he's gorgeous and so unique, I just wanted to maybe try-"

"I get it. But maybe you should just focus on school? Because if you get into any trouble here, you and your mom will have to move..." Namjoon said with a frown.

Yoongi sighed softly. "Yeah... you're right, hyung. I shouldn't be thinking about boys." Yoongi said as he smiled. "Thanks, hyung." Yoongi said as he got up and sighed.

Namjoon nodded before he handed the younger a brown bag. "Go eat something. Or eat it here." Namjoon said.

Yoongi sighed softly before he took it and walked to the door. "Thank you, hyung. I'll see you after school." Yoongi said before he walked out the door.

Yoongi sighed softly as he made his way to the cafeteria. He looked around as it got quiet and everyone looked at him.

Yoongi ignored their stares and whispers as he found himself a table to sit at. He opened the bag and smiled to himself as he pulled out a home cooked meal from Seokjin.

Yoongi immediately began to eat, not aware someone was about to approach him.

"Hyung... maybe you should like play hard to get? Like maybe act like you don't want him?" Taehyung suggested. "It seems to work." Taehyung said to himself. Jimin looked up at him and smiled. "Maybe... let me just try to work my charm one last time!" Jimin said before he walked over to Yoongi's table.

At the same time he was approaching him, Jungkook was doing the same.

Yoongi brought his food to his mouth, but didn't get a chance to eat it as he felt a hand on his shoulder. Yoongi looked up to his left at Jimin.

"Hey, how come you're sitting all alone?" Jimin asked. Yoongi opened his mouth to speak, but Jungkook interrupted him.

"Jimin, why don't you just go somewhere, can't you tell when you're nothing someone?" Jungkook asked as he crossed his arms over his chest.

Jimin rolled his eyes before he looked down at Yoongi and smiled. "I just wanted to let you know, you're always welcomed to sit with Taehyung-ah and I! We'd love it if you'd join us." Jimin said.

Yoongi looked over at their table at Taehyung who rolled his eyes and looked away. Yoongi pouted. "No thanks." He mumbled.

Jimin looked over at Taehyung and furrowed his eyebrows. The younger shrugged his shoulders. Jungkook pushed Jimin out of the way and tapped Yoongi's shoulder. Yoongi looked up at him. "Yes, Kookie?" Yoongi asked, making himself and Jungkook both blush.

Jungkook pulled himself together. "Could we talk now, hyung? Please?" He asked.

Yoongi sighed softly. "Look, Koo- Jungkook, I understand you and I kind of have unfinished business... but it's my first day and it's all just a bit-"

"Overwhelming. Oh my gosh, hyung... I'm so sorry! Just... just come and find me whenever you're ready! I can wait." Jungkook said as he gave Yoongi's arm a small squeeze.

Yoongi nodded. "Thanks." He said before he watched the younger walk back over to Hoseok and their other friends.

Yoongi looked up at Jimin who smiled. "I'll... I should go right?" He said. Yoongi shrugged before he began to eat again. "You don't have to." He said.

Jimin smiled and quickly sat down next to Yoongi. "Are you sure you're okay with this?" Jimin asked. Yoongi nodded. Jimin squealed a bit before he blushed as Yoongi looked at him in slight shock.

"Sorry." He mumbled. Yoongi shook his head lightly. "It's okay. It was cute." Yoongi said as he looked at Jimin before he pushed his food over to him. "Have the rest." He said as he took a drink of his soda.

Jimin smiled and shook his head. "No, no, I couldn't-"

"You can and you will because my hyung makes the best food. You won't regret it." Yoongi said as he looked into Jimin's eyes, causing the blonde to blush before he took a bite of Yoongi's food.

Taehyung pouted and folded his arms over his chest as he watched Jimin with Yoongi. He watched as Jimin's eyes lit up after he had tried the food Yoongi offered him. He watched as they talked and laughed together before he looked over at Jungkook who was also watching them, jealousy clearly on his face. Taehyung looked back at Yoongi and glared at him.

"I officially hate him." Taehyung mumbled to himself before he got up and threw his and Jimin's untouched food away before he walked out of the cafeteria, not knowing that Yoongi was watching him the entire time.
