Chapter Twenty-Three

Taehyung sat up from laying on Jimin's lap as he heard the last bell ring. He looked over at Jimin and watched as the elder bit down on his bottom lip nervously.

Taehyung patted his back. "Just go up to him and tell him how you feel! I really don't think he'll turn you down." Taehyung said.

Jimin sighed. "What if he doesn't want to be my boyfriend?" Jimin asked.

Taehyung sighed and rolled his eyes. "I'm telling you, Jungkook is in love with you! And if he does turn you down, which again I highly doubt, he's an idiot." Taehyung said.

Jimin sighed and nodded. "Okay! Okay... let's go before soccer practice starts." Jimin said as he got up and helped Taehyung up. Taehyung smiled as he followed Jimin back down.

They were making their way to the soccer field when Taehyung spotted Yoongi waiting at his locker. Taehyung smiled as he walked up to him. "Hi!" He said.

Yoongi smiled back. "Hey. What are you two up to?"

Taehyung smiled. "Jiminie is gonna confess to Jungkook!"

Yoongi looked at Jimin who blushed and looked away. Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows before he raised them as Taehyung grabbed his hand and pulled him along. "Come on!!!" He said.

Yoongi looked up at Taehyung as they stopped just outside the door. They looked at Jimin as he looked out and watched as Jungkook laughed and talked to some of his teammates as he played with a soccer ball. Jimin took a deep breath before he pushed the door open and walked outside.

Yoongi looked up at Taehyung. "Are you okay? Cause of... you know..."

Taehyung smiled. "I found out that I don't actually like him like that... besides, even if I did, I want my Jiminie to be happy! There's plenty of guys out there!" Taehyung said with a smile.

Yoongi nodded. "Yeah... I'm just happy they won't be fighting over me.. or fighting anymore. Well... if Jungkook reciprocates his feelings."

Taehyung smiled. "Jungkookie has liked Jiminie for a while. So I don't think we have anything to worry about." Taehyung said with a soft smiled before he turned and looked out the window, Yoongi doing the same.

"Oh! Jimin! You coming back?" The coach asked as Jimin passed him. Jimin ignored him as he locked eyes with Jungkook. "JEON!" He shouted before he stood in front of him.

Jungkook sighed. "Wha-" Jungkook blushed as Jimin threw his arms around his neck. "What are you-"

"Shut up." Jimin said softly before he kissed Jungkook passionately. Jungkook raised his eyebrows in shock, trying to process what was going on. Jimin smiled as he kissed him again, this time, Jungkook kissed him back and grabbed his waist.

Yoongi and Taehyung both smiled and laughed a bit as the soccer team cheered them on.

Jimin slowly pulled away and looked up into Jungkook's eyes. "I like you, Jeon..."

Jungkook chuckled. "I like you too, Park Jimin... and I've literally been waiting for this day since the day I saw you." Jimin blushed as he watched Jungkook take a step back. "Park Jimin, will you please give me the honor of calling you mine?" Jungkook asked.

Jimin smiled and nodded. "Yes, yes yes yes! I'll be your boyfriend!" Jimin said with a big smile before he jumped into Jungkook's arms and kissed him again, making everyone cheer for them again.

"Alright alright! This is lovely but you're interrupting my practice, Jimin." The coach said.

Jimin blushed and smiled as Jungkook put him down. "Sorry, coach." Jimin said before he glanced up at Jungkook. "I'll um... I'll wait for you over there." Jimin said as he pointed to the bleachers.
