"Rotting is so much easier..."

"So, you're just gonna give up on everyone else here? The people that care for you? Your friends, family....lover."

"Heh...I don't have any of that."

"You do, look at them. They're all here for you, and only you."

"Maybe you're right...I do have family and friends, but I don't have a lover, never did."

"You do, you know you do."

"He cheated on me, left me for someone else. He doesn't deserve even a single sec of my life. I don't care about him, I just hate him..."

Mike said as he took out a picture on him and Derek, they looked so happy together and it almost brought him to tears.

"After all this...still a single picture of him is enough to make me fall for him all over again..."

After that talk between Ahiella and Mike he just sat there, staring at the picture of him and Derek as tears started to fall down his cheek, Derek didn't even know what to say, he felt so bad and he really did regret everything that happened.

Ahiella on the other hand told everyone to leave and go upstairs, for some reason they listened to her and followed upstairs, but she stopped Derek.

"Go talk to him, now. And fix this shit before it gets any worse."

She glared at Derek over her shoulder before going up stairs with the rest, she also wanted to comfort Nico, they seem to know how to handle each other pretty well.

Derek groaned and scratched the back of his neck nervously as he walked slowly over to Mike before he tried to speak.

"I-"

"Did you enjoy it...?"

Mike interrupted as he looked at the picture, but Derek couldn't say a word.

"Did you enjoy seeing me in pain...all these years..?"

He spoke again.

"I'm only here because I feel really bad, thinking about the way I hurt you makes me feel like my heart is being split in two."

Derek started as tears welled in his eyes.

"I'm sorry...for all the hurt I've caused you and I regret the things I've done. I've lost the one person I've ever loved and it was cause of the things I've done."

His hands started to quiver and shake along with his body as he broke down into tears.

"Baby I feel so bad right now, cause I tore your world apart, and now all I can think about is how I broke your heart. These tears that run down my cheek are filled with sadness and hurt, because I loved you so much and now I know that things will never be the same. I messed up and now I see that you mean the absolute world to me!"

He continued to cry out before dropping to his knees, Mike still didn't even look at him.

"I know sorry's not enough...because I'm such a screw up...But for whatever its worth I wanted to say, that you cross my mind every single day...The thought of you makes me smile, and I know our love was real, so I'm pouring my heart out right now so you know how I really feel."

His tears calmed and his voice softened as his breathing became more of a shutter.

"What I really want to say is that I'm sorry...I know that you didn't deserve to be hurt like that, and I know that you will find someone who will love you and treat you right, they will make you happy and that person won't hurt you like I did...."

His voice was more of a soft sob at this point as he clinched his fists and laid his head on the ground.

"I'm such a piece of shit..."
