-Mikes pov-

The sand was so warm underneath my feet, and the sun light felt like a blanket covering me. The smell of the ocean and its calming waves made this moment even better.

"Mike.." the same low voice, the one voice I could never forget, "hm?" I looked down at him as he laidback on the sand, looking to the harrison, his eyes sparkled when the sun light hit them.

"We should do stuff like this more often." He said with a heart stopping smile, I could feel my face heat up just from looking at him.

I coughed and cleared my throat before responding, "yeah, we should...I love spending time with you, you know that right, Nico?" He smiled at my words which made my heart flutter.

"I know." after that, it was silent for a while, it wasn't awkward, it was a comfortable silence.

I turned my attention back to the sunset, it was so beautiful you could hardly take your eyes off it. Until, I felt something grab my thigh.

I looked down an saw Nicos hand on my thigh, squeezing it slightly. My face immediately turned a dark shade of red, I looked at his face for any type of explanation but he didn't say anything.

We stayed like that for what felt like an eternity until I finally spoke, "we should g-" I was interrupted but Nico sitting up and grabbing my chin, pulling me in.

Our lips were inches away from each other, I could feel his warm breath brush against my lips. "Wha-" I was once again interrupted, "Mike.."

I looked at him a little confused as he said my name again, "Mike...wake up." I raised an eyebrow, what did he mean wake up? I am up.

"Wake up."

"Wake up Mike." I groaned a little as someone shook me side to side, whispering for me to wake up. "What..." I said sleepily but a little annoyed at the fact that they woke me up.

I didn't even look to see who it was, I just wanted to go back to sleep. My eyes slowly fluttered shut, but before I could fall back asleep someone shook me again.

"Oh my god, wha-" I whisper yelled as I sat up, but when I saw who it was I froze. "C'mon." Nico said as he walked out the room, expecting me to follow.

I looked over at Derek who was sleeping peacefully, so I slowly got out the bed and walked downstairs. Nico was standing by the front door, he didn't say anything he just walk out and sat on the front porch.

I hesitantly followed and sat next to him, a few inches away of course. "What do you want...it's 4 in the morning." I said in a shaky voice, I wasn't scared I was just freezing.

"I'm sorry." He said after a good bit of silence, his words honestly caught my off guard, "Sorry for what? Kidnapping me, or lying to me?" I saw him frown and look at the ground.

Maybe that was too harsh, "I'm sorry for everything. I'm supposed to be someone for you to look up too, but I'm nothing more than my father." My face softened as I moved a little closer to him.

He looked like he was about to cry which shocked me even more because Nicos never cried around me. "You're nothing like your dad, your dad is a lowlife that doesn't deserve sons like you and Mattia. You two are amazing, you're both big sweethearts under the right circumstances. And if it wasn't for you Mattia, Kobe and Derek would still probably hate me."

We both chuckled a little, "nah, they didn't hate you. They just didn't know any other way to try and be friends with you, honestly they might've had a crush on you." I raised an eyebrow at that.

"What do you mean?" He laughed at my scrunched up confused face, "they only picked on you Mike, whenever Mattia invited Kobe and Derek over all they did was talk about you. So it was kinda obvious."

Kobe and Mattia liked me? I mean, I already know Derek likes me now but Mattia and Kobe did too back then? What?! Woah...wait that's weird to think about now.

I shook my thoughts away before turning back to Nico, "Jezz, did you have a crush on me too? Damn." I didn't really mean it as a serious question but when I giggled a little and looked over at Nico his face was slightly red.

"Nico, you good?" He cleared his throat before speaking again, "yeah, yeah I'm good. We should probably go back inside before you catch a cold." He said while looking down at my shivering body.

"Yeah, we probably should..."
