marry me

today is the day. i'm gonna propose to the love of my life. right now we're laying down in our bed and today i'm gonna take her to the beach and everything. "bubba wake up" i say softly kissing her face. "cmon baby get up i have something planned" i tickle her. "stop tickling me" she giggled. "get up baby" i kissed her again. "ok ok" she giggled. "what's happening today?" she asked.

"i'm gonna take you somewhere" i said in a sing-song voice. "mmm ok" she smiled. she got up to take a shower while i went to make her some breakfast, avocado toast of course. i also made a little side fruit salad for her since she may not eat real food until tonight.

time skip

  "baby where are we going" billie groaned in the passenger seat. i put a blindfold over her eyes so she couldn't see that i was taking her to her favorite beach. "you'll see baby" i rubbed her thigh. she huffed and leaned her head on the window.

   we made it to the beach where her family was waiting and standing beside the rose petal trail claudia helped set up. (claudia is bae) "ok we're here" i giggled nervously but excited at the same time. "finally" she smiled. i helped her out the car, keeping the blindfold on her eyes. "can i take the blindfold off?" she asked. "in a second baby" i said. i held her hands as i led her to the trail. "ok you can take it off now" i told her. she quickly ripped it off making me laugh.

  she saw the trail and her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. i kissed her hand then led her down the trail. she saw her family and turned to me smiling wider than ever. here goes nothing. i thought.

  i got on one knee and pulled out the ring. billie gasped and i saw her immediately tear up.

"billie eilish pirate baird occonell, from the day i met you i knew that i wanted you in my life. i knew that you were gonna be my everything. you were always there for me when i felt like no one was. you were always there when i needed you and when i was going insane. you are the light of my life and i'm so happy and proud and lucky and everything under the fucking look that i get to call you mine.

  billie, would you make me the happiest and corniest person in the world and marry me?" i sighed. tears streaming down my face as well. "YES. yes yes yes YES i will!" she nodded. i slid the ring on her finger before standing up to engulf her in a hug. "i love you baby" she cried. "i love you so much more" i whispered kissing her temple. i heard sniffles come from her family making me giggle slightly. once we pulled away we leaned in for a soft tender kiss full of nothing but love.
