"I can see that. You lost your husband-" "he isn't my husband! He never was! But we had to pretend that he was because people talk and I was a single mother and then he came into our life and... I had no choice." "Ally, it's okay. You have me." Riker hugs me and Austib clears his throat "I have you too and I know that." I say and hold Austin's hand. "Why did he leave." "Long story short. He knows I don't love him the way a person should love another. He loved me but I could never return that love." "Can we go to the faireswheel? Please please please!" James wines. Riker smiles "you two go on the tunnel of love or something and I'll take the kids to the ferris wheel." Riker tells us and Austin puts his arms around me. "I don't know." "Come on the kids and I really hit it off. James already considers his dad." I see Austin get jittery "I'll take James and Riker can take Audrey." He tells us. "Austin I don't think James would want to go with a stranger." "I'm his dad!" "He doesn't know that! His to little to understand that!" Audrey hugs me. "I want to go with my mom." I smile and hug her back." And James comes and hugs Audrey. "Can all of us go?" Audrey asks. "Okay, Audrey, Ally and James go on the fairs wheel." Riker smiles. "I'll go do the line." Austin rolls his eyes and walks away. An hour later Riker comes back from the fun house with the kids and the I'm still in line. Austin get close to me "Um, Ally? The line still looks long can I go relive myself?" I laugh and node. "Where's Austin going?" "His such a little kid!" "Next!" The man yells "how many?" I was about to answer but Audrey blurted out "Four!" I look at her and the man shoves us into the the seats "Audrey this wasn't the plan!" Riker yells at her. "Dad! You and mom are perfect together! James already loves you! Can't you two remarry and live happly ever after?" I look at Riker. Who is smiling at me. "Do you want to try again?" "Riker-" the ride begins and I grab my seat. "What's wrong?" "I don't like heights and I didn't know it was going to be this high!" I start hyperventilating "Ally relax! We're almost down." The ride stops at the very top and I freak out. "Fireworms!" James yells and points and Audrey laughs "Those are Fireworks!" I look out and smile "we're lucky we get the best seats in the whole fair." Riker tells me and I smile. "This is so romantic." I say and Audrey switches seats with me so I'm next to Riker. "The view is amazing." He says and I agree "The fireworks are an amazing sight" he laughs and puts his arm around me. "The fireworks are amazing but I was taking about another breathtaking sight." He says looking at me. I playfully roll my eyes and blush. He leans in and we share a tender kiss. The ride starts again I pull away slowly. "Looks like we're moving again." "We sure are." He says with a grin. On the ground there stands a furious Austin. "Hey Dad. Did you see the fireworks? Wasn't it romantic?" Audrey asks Austin but he ignore her "That wasn't the plan!" He yells at Riker "We all fit. And Audrey said four so-" "If I knew you were trying to steal ally away from me I wouldn't have let you stay with her!" "It's her decision if she want me! Austin can't you see? It's been me! It's always been me!" "That's not true! She loves me!" "Guys stop it this instant! Austin it's not you." "Ha!" "It's not you either Riker!" "Ha!" "I don't know who it is!" "Now that Ally has no reason to go back to her old life this isn't about getting Ally to stay this is about winning her heat back now!" "Austin! Riker! Please stop! I'll stay but just don't kill each other!" Audrey hugs me and James runs to Riker. "I'm winning so far." Riker whispers to Austin. "Hey Alz how about me and you go out. On a date. Tonight." Riker offers. "No! Me and Ally are going to Sally's soups she loves it there! Do you want to go in a date with me! Tonight Allygator?" "I really want to see my parents right now." "I'll take you." They bout yell. "Austin. I want to go by myself. I'm sorry. To both of you." "Then I'll take the kids him. James trusts Audrey and it gives me time to bond with him." Austin offers and I agree. "Riker are you coming? Because I'm not leaving you with MY Ally!" "Yeah I'm just going to the bathroom." He tells him and walks away. "I'll get a cab. James go with Austin his a good guy and Audrey will be with you." I tell him and he nodes and walks away with Austin. I smile and walk to the corner "Riker I know your not really in the bathroom! Come on take me to my parent." He comes out and hugs my waist. "Okay babe." He kisses my neck and I kiss him. "I really missed you and this." I say in between breaths
