Jungkook breaks down. His lip quivers more and more, sobs leaving his mouth and fat tears rolling down his face.
"Baby," Taehyung coos sadly, holding his arms out to hold him.

Jungkook rarely cries.

Yes, Taehyung knows it's bad.

No, he can't get him to cry.

He's cried once during their 2 year relationship, and that's only because Taehyung caught him in the shower while going to brush his teeth. He's probably cried a couple more times, but the older has only seen him once.

He wants him to cry more since it's not good at all to bottle up your emotions, but he can't get him to. He doesn't show a lot of affection either.

Some of the discussions about Jungkook's emotions led to fights. Taehyung dropped it completely, trusting his cold boyfriend to come to him whenever he's ready.

Jungkook has a hard day. He was late to work, he got screamed at my his boss, he didn't finish his work so he got yelled at more, he has to bring papers home, he embarrassed himself, and he just felt completely and utterly defeated.

He wants a break, the poor boy wants to sleep and get cuddles from his boyfriend. But he can't. He has to do the paperwork his boss yelled at him over.

He shuts the door to their house, sighing heavily and setting his coat down on the counter.

"Hey, love. How was your day?" Taehyung greets him. Jungkook has a cold, hard look on his face.

"I don't want to talk about it," he says, beginning to walk upstairs to the office to finish his work.

"Are you sure?" Taehyung asks, caution laced in his voice.

"Drop it, Tae. I have work to do," he says, a blank expression on his face as he continues to go to the office. Taehyung isn't surprised by this action, he figures he'll make him feel better by making him some tea and soup.

It takes about 20 minutes for him to finish everything up before he goes upstairs to get his boyfriend.

He knocks quietly before going in, seeing him hunched over a desk piled in paperwork. The male has a worried and distressed look on his face.

"Babe, I made you something to eat. You should come down."

"Not now," he mumbles, continuing to write on one of the sheets of paper.

"Kookie baby," Taehyung emphasizes, letting Jungkook know it was time to take a break, no matter how much work he had. Jungkook sighs, getting up from his chair. Taehyung laces his fingers with his, taking him downstairs and leading him to the dining table. Jungkook's heart melts at the sight, even though it was just soup and tea. 

Jungkook breaks down. His lip quivers more and more, sobs leaving his mouth and fat tears rolling down his face.

"Baby," Taehyung coos sadly, holding his arms out to hold him. Jungkook immediately hides his face in the elder's chest, crying into his shirt and inhaling his scent. He stays there for a few minutes until his sobs die down to hiccups. He pulls back, wiping his tears away and sighing shakily.

"Do you want to talk about it, love?" Taehyung asks, cupping his cheeks and caressing them with his thumbs. Jungkook nods, wiping his eyes again.

"I-It was so bad today, T-Tae," he says, tears welling up in his eyes again, "I got screamed at and humiliated. A- and I didn't get some of the work done so I had to bring it home when I just want to go to b-bed."

"I'm so sorry, bub. How about we eat the soup, we take a warm bath, and we cuddle while we go to sleep?" Taehyung suggests, running his fingers through his boyfriend's raven hair.

"Th-that sounds amazing," he sighs, smiling contently. 

So they do just that, eating the soup that Jungkook loved and he ended up showering Taehyung in tons of compliments. They then took their warm bath, washing each other's hair and cuddling in the tub before drying off and changing into comfortable clothes and cuddling under the sheets.

"My boss is gonna be mad that I didn't finish my work today," he mumbles before he was close to falling asleep.

"Let me handle that, just lay down and sleep." Taehyung replies, petting Jungkook's head until they both fell asleep.
