Too Little

Taehyung: Little, ages 1-5
Jungkook: Caregiver, boyfriend

Jungkook was mad at Taehyung. Actually, more than mad. Furious.

It all started when Taehyung woke up not feeling well. He just woke up feeling like crap and his tummy was hurting.

Jungkook didn't know about this, though. He just thought it was one of his days. Meaning, he was misbehaving and it was just a bad day.

When Jungkook was sitting on the couch working on his papers for his job, Taehyung had found a purple sharpie... and colored all over his face, clothes, and the wall.

His outfit, of course, was ruined. His face had to be scrubbed and the wall was sadly ruined also.

Jungkook was mad. But Taehyung was 4, and Taehyung was known to be really troublesome at that age, so Jungkook put him in a long time-out and he was fine for a while.

That is, until his stomach started hurting again.

It was then close to lunch time and when Jungkook set a plate down with a ham and cheese sandwich, Taehyung looked at it with pure disgust and pushed it away.

"Don't wan' it." He said.

"Tae, eat it. It'll be ok." Jungkook said, not really in the mood for Taehyung's attitude.

"No~," Taehyung pouted and whined.

"Taehyung." Jungkook said sternly. Taehyung roller his eyes and pouted, but still stuck the sandwich in his mouth. Reluctantly, I might add.

"Taehyung I am not in the mood today. This is your warning." Jungkook said firmly. Taehyung pouted and ate his sandwich with Jungkook working on his papers across from him.

After finishing his sandwich, he pushed his plate away and got down. Jungkook put the plate in the sink and got back to work.

Taehyung was working on his lego set that Jinnie hyungie got for him a while back. Jungkook and Namjoon both absolutely hated it. Both were clumsy and it really hurt stepping on them when you weren't paying attention very well.

After a while of building, Taehyung got bored and started to toss the legos around a little. He found this fun and started throwing more, just harder.

All the fun he was having ended when a handful of legos hit a lamp and knocked it over, resulting in it breaking. (Me: it's actually a true story lmao. I was throwing legos and a handful hit the lamp and it fell. I got whooped so hard after that.)

"Taehyung what was that?" Jungkook asked while coming to the living room. Taehyung was frozen, and he knew what was going to happen next. Jungkook saw the broken lamp on the floor, along with the legos with it. He was furious.

Jungkook grabbed Taehyung's wrist and pulled him upstairs.

"D-daddy dat huwts!" Taehyung cried as he was pulled into their shared bedroom.

"Taehyung I don't want to hear it." Jungkook said harshly. His voice was cold and hard, and it cut Taehyung.

Jungkook picked Taehyung up. But not the way Taehyung liked it. It was harsh, and was sure to leave red marks on his sides. Jungkook laid Taehyung on his stomach on his lap and pulled his pants down.

"D-daddy!" Taehyung sobbed out. He tried telling Jungkook that he was slipping more and wouldn't be able to be spanked.

"I don't want to hear it, Taehyung." Jungkook said again. It was just as harsh.

He raised his hand and slammed his hand down on Taehyung's bottom. Taehyung let out an ear-piercing cry.

At first, Jungkook was confused and shocked. But when he saw Taehyung wailing on his lap and gasping for air, he snapped out of it. He pulled his pants up and held Taehyung close to him.

Taehyung was still gasping for air and hugged Jungkook desperately, wanting his daddy to take this scary feeling away.

"Shh, baby. Breathe for me it's ok," Jungkook said as he held Taehyung. Taehyung couldn't understand what his daddy was saying at all. He was 2.

Jungkook teared up at his baby still wailing and gasping for air on his lap. He hugged him and rocked him, hoping that it would make Taehyung feel better.

It had worked slightly. Taehyung wails died down to soft sobs as he was still semi-gasping from all the crying. Jungkook slipped his hand under Taehyung's shirt and rubbed his back soothingly. It seemed to help calm Taehyung down a little more.

"What happened, baby?" Jungkook asked softly.

"T-Tae too w-wittle." Taehyung replied while burying his head into Jungkook's chest.

"I'm so sorry, love. Daddy's so sorry," Jungkook said while rubbing Taehyung's back more.

"It o-otay." Taehyung said. He sighed and buried his head into Jungkook's chest more.

"We gotta get cleaned up, prince." Jungkook said while hoisting Taehyung on his hip. Taehyung put his head on his shoulder as he was carried to the bathroom.

Jungkook decided on giving the little a bath. He had to take one anyway and decided it should be now. He filled the bath with warm water and bubbles and undressed the little. Taehyung slid in the bath and was immediately taken into his own world because of the bubbles.

Jungkook smiles fondly and wet Taehyung's puffy cheeks softly. Taehyung giggled at the warm water tickling his face as it slid down and landed in the water.

Jungkook then took strawberry scented shampoo and put some in Taehyung's hair. After rinsing that and washing his body, Taehyung stepped out of the bath. Jungkook has wrapped him up in a warm fluffy towel and dried him.

After being put in a nappy and a onesie, both were highly requested by Taehyung, the pair went downstairs. Jungkook sat Taehyung down on the couch and cleaned up the broken glass from the lamp.

He decided that there was no point in putting the little in time-out. He figured the scare he had earlier was enough and well, he was 2. He most likely didn't remember what he did wrong.

Jungkook sat down with Taehyung on the couch who was happily sucking on his pacifier and playing with his onesie. He let Taehyung play just a little more before Taehyung stopped and yawned.

"Is my baby boy tired?" Jungkook asked. Taehyung nodded sleepily and cutely rubbed his eye.

Jungkook picked him up and carried him upstairs and laid him down on the bed. Jungkook laid down with him and played with his somewhat damp hair from the bath and both fell into a deep slumber.
