Found: Bucky x reader

Chapter 6

     Sam pulled up to an empty warehouse. Steve got out of the car and you assisted him to taking Bucky's limp body out of the car. The two men sat him down. Sam then decided to used an old construction machine and clamped it down on his arm.

"Are you sure that's really necessary?" You cringed.

"I understand, but we can't take any chances." Steve said.

     You nodded in agreement. You looked over at him hunched over form. You were worried he wasn't going to wake up as the Bucky that you know and love.

"How did you end up in all of this kid?" Sam asked.

"It's kind of a long story." You said.

   An hour must have passed as you told Sam and Steve how you had first met Bucky as the infamous Winter Solider. You also told them how you initially got your powers.

"So you were really in D.C. when SHEILD fell?" Steve asked.

"Yeah, I was but I couldn't go through with my mission. I was lucky Bucky rescued me after it was over. I probably would have never escaped if it wasn't for him." You said.

"That's where he must have gone to after he pulled me from the river." Steve chuckled.

"Yeah I guess." You smiled.

"How's his memory?" Steve asked.

   Just then Sam called us in saying that Bucky was waking up.

"Let's find out." You said.

You and Steve quickly rushed into the room. You immediately went to get up from sitting, but then you winced and clutched onto your side.

"Why don't you stay in this room for now? Just until I know it's safe." Steve said.

   You gave him a puzzled look. Steve then put a gentle hand on your shoulder and leaned in.

"I saw what he did to you." He whispered.

You gulped nervously.

    
     After Steve left you lifted up your shirt to see the damage. A giant bruise was formed on the right side of your rib cage. You quickly put your fingers over your neck where he grabbed you. It was sore and was probably going to bruise as well. Tears began to well up in your eyes and you quickly put your hair down to try and cover it up. Even thought you were in pain, you managed to get yourself up and head to the doorway where Bucky was at. You watched curiously through the door way. You were ready to step in there if something went wrong.

"Steve?" Bucky said groggily.

"Which Bucky am I talking too?" Steve said.

"Your moms name is Sarah...y-you used to wear newspapers in your shoes." Bucky reminisced.

"Can't read that in a museum." Steve chuckled.

"Just like that we're supposed to be cool?" Sam said sarcastically.

"Where's Y/n" Bucky asked.

"I'm right here." You said as you walked over to him.

"Can't we get his arm out now." You said firmly.

Steve gave Sam a nod of reassurance. Sam unclenched the machine and set Bucky's metal arm free.

"What did I do?" Bucky asked.

You all looked at each-other with concern. Bucky then knew he must have went into Winter Solider mode and probably killed people.

"I knew this would happen! Everything from hydra is still in my head... All he had to do was say the goddam words." Bucky said defeated.

"Who was he? People are dead, the bombings... All that just to get ten minutes with you! Why?" Steve said.

"I don't know." Bucky said.

"I need you to be better than that." Steve said.

"He wanted to know about Siberia, where I was kept." Bucky replied.

"Why would he need to know what was there?" Steve asked.

"I'm not the only Winter Solider." Bucky replied.

Bucky then continued to explain how Hydra created more soldiers to be like him. They were dangerous and still alive. They were hydra's deadliest kill squad.

Steve and Sam went to go talk in the corner of the room. You immediately went up to Bucky and embraced him into a hug gently. You made sure to hide the pain you were in.

"I didn't hurt you did I?" He asked concerned.

"No of course not, I'm just glad your back." You lied.

    To be honest, your pride was hurt that you couldn't get him out of his mind control. You out of all people should have been able too.

   Steve and Sam came back to explain the deal with the Sokovia Accords and how we were on our own to stop the hydra death squad.

"What's the plan?" You asked.
