Found: Bucky x reader

Chapter 4

   A/N: This chapter is very long because I wanted to add my favorite scene from the movie where Steve comes to Bucky's apartment.

Warning: violence, injury, mentions of blood.

Afterwards Bucky helped you do the dishes he decided to go for a little walk. After about an hour he comes bursting through the door in a huff.

"What happened?" You asked with a concerned voice.

"This" Bucky snarled.

   He then smacks a newspaper down on the counter.

"Vienna Bombing Suspect Has Been Identified as James Barnes"

This wasn't good.

"How the hell is that even possible!!" You exclaimed.

"I don't know, that's not me!" He said. 

It was all over the news. Bucky's face was plastered all over the television, newspaper, and the internet. This put an even more huge target on his back. Multiple people were injured and dead. There was no way this was even possible. Bucky has been with you when the bombings took place.

"Someone is planning something... and they are trying to put the blame on you." You stated.

"Someone saw me, we are gonna have to leave" he said sadly.

Large footsteps could be heard across the hallway. You and Bucky both looked at each other. You both knew whoever was there was coming for him. They were getting closer and closer. You didn't have any time to escape. You quickly grabbed Bucky's hand and turned invisible.

The door swings open and the man enter the small apartment. You immediately recognized him as Steve Rogers aka Captain America. You didn't dare move a muscle. He was now searching around the the place and looking through things. He appeared to be speaking to someone in an ear piece.

Bucky suddenly let go of your hand and became visible. You still were frozen and unseen.

What were you supposed to do?

"You know me?" Steve question.

"Your Steve, I read about you in a museum" Bucky said.

"I know your nervous, and you have plenty of reason to be, but your lying." Steve said.

   You had it! Bucky was not there in Vienna. You phased out of your invisibility and stood next to Bucky.

    Steve had a shocked expression on his face and his posture went into a defensive mode.

"He's not lying" You said firmly.

"Who are you?" Steve said aggressively.

"She's with me." Bucky said. He then stepped in front of you protectively.

"We've been living here together." You said.

"I wasn't in Vienna, I don't do that anymore." Bucky said.

"He's telling the truth." You pleaded.

Steve could tell you were being sincere. He didn't want to believe it was Bucky, but it was both your words over them.

"Well the people who think you did are coming here now, their not planning on taking you alive." Steve said.

"That's smart, good strategy." Bucky said.

   You grabbed his hand and squeezed it. You knew a big fight was about to go down. You began to mentally prepare yourself for what was about to happen.
