At the end of the world, a requiem bell echoed into the abyss. A lifeless funeral procession stretched beyond the horizon; at the front stood a girl in black gothic attire holding a matching black parasol. She was young and beautiful and stood with a dignified posture, but her hazel eyes were as empty as the scene that surrounded her. In front of the girl was a small coffin with an enormous mechanical clock towering over it.
The girl slowly peered into the coffin. The ringing of the bells and the sound of the clock ticking confirmed that time was proceeding normally, but for the girl, in this moment, time felt as if it ceased to exist.
Eventually, she turned on her heel away from the funeral procession as if she had just remembered something. She remembered as she began to walk against the winding funeral procession.
What she had to do.
She walked resolutely without looking back. But every time she tried to forget the past, happy memories flooded into her mind. Letting go was impossible. Gradually, her gait grew heavier and heavier until finally, the girl stopped. The mounting sense of excruciating loss and anger was too much to bear. Overcome by grief, her heart screamed. Her anguish burst out and tears streamed down her face.
Sister! What do I do?! Please, help me!
Staring at the ground, her heart crying out in despair, the girl noticed a shadow had appeared in front of her. When she looked up, she saw a horned boy with jet-black wings. The demonic figure held out his hands and spoke.
"If there's something you wish for, you have to make it come true."
In his hands was a gun engraved with a beautiful butterfly pattern.
