After razing his hometown, Don Nicolas set out on foot to the royal capital to find his father's superior, the one who led his family to ruin. The senior official responsible for Don Nicolas's father's death, having risen to a high-ranking position in the royal family, lived in a mansion in a quiet residential area.

Don Nicolas's visit serendipitously coincided with a family reunion. He killed the guards and began his rampage. Some of the guards wielded magic armaments, but they were no match for someone equipped with two pieces of the world.

After he gathered the high-ranking bureaucrat and his family in the large living room, Don Nicolas killed his children and then his crying wife right before his eyes.

"Why? Why are you doing this? If you're not happy with the politics, take it up with the royal government!"

Even after all this time, this man seemed to have no idea why someone would target him like this. No wonder he was unaware that he had ruined a family in a small cold village.

"I'm here to collect the price," Don Nicolas said in an emotionless voice as Labrys flashed in his hand. Forever frozen in an expression of shock, the official's head was sent flying and rolled across the floor. His body fell on the spot, fresh blood spurting from his neck like a geyser.

Back in the present, Don Nicolas stared at David's lifeless head, which was now sitting on the table in the VIP room. He rose up and grabbed it by the hair, then plucked his right eyeball out of the socket using only his fingers.

Holding the eyeball, Don Nicolas came to an old-fashioned projector in the corner of the room and put it into a test tube-like component. He pressed the startup switch on the projector and wiped his fingers with a handkerchief as he sat back down on the couch.

As the rotary press clicked into motion, the dimly lit room became faintly brighter. Eventually, an image was projected onto a glass panel hung on the wall—a reflection of Ario, wearing a crimson dress and pointing a gun.
